“We’re late, the speech has started!”

You’ll gonna miss the powerful welcoming speech by Sheikh Yahya!”

“ok, ok, just keep walking and stop nagging” :p

Hehe, eventually, we arrived at the venue around 10 am, just after Sheikh Yahya Ibrahim had ended his speech with the greeting of Salam. Ok, so, is there any interesting topic he came up in his speech just now?

I was eager to know when my sister smiled and answered;

“There are two kind of people in this hall today, the one that will walkout and got nothing, and the one that will walkout and change, you choose!"

“That what I called a powerful welcoming speech” Really, the phrase do catch my attention as I take my seat just beside my younger sister who came a bit early that morning ( we came with a different car )

“ What’s more do I get for this entire day, I can’t hardly wait, Subhanallah, I can see that the venue is fully seated by audience from all around the world, and whenever Dr Zaharuddin Bin Abdul Rahman name was mentioned as the next speaker, our host would asked;

“ Is there any IIUM student here, and they would be a crowd of people who would cheer up clapping their hands and some would answered proudly, ‘ME’.

“ok, sure they would come, and that instance, I turned to my right side and smile anxiously to my dearest aunt ( young aunt, btw, she is just 18 years old ) who is still studying as a CFS student in IIUM PJ, give her a wink that say;

“ya, we are IIUM student!” and my sisters will look at us with a smirk;
“ok, we all know you are IIUM students, don’t need to tell the entire world” with that unsatisfying look in their eyes..LOL

USIM girls with their jealousy would be our answer to them.. haha,sorry sis;)

Right, how is it for a start? ☺

Our Journey of faith has just begun~

One of the talk that really intrigued me is a talk entitled “ Our Youth , the Foundations of the Exemplary Community” by Sheikh Navaid Aziz, one of the instructor of Al-Maghrib Institute in USA.

As the majority of the participants are no doubt still can be categorized as youth, it did give us as youth a better view in the thing we should consider as substantial in our life.

“There are 7 main categories in a wheel to help us (the youth) realize our true potential.

The first thing that is listed is our Deen!

As I recall when ever I attend Al-Maghrib Institute’s seminars, they would talk it over and over again, even I can’t forget the formulae ever since, So what is the formulae? Let me share it with you.

Let us take a step back to the history of our prophet, Muhammad S.A.W, when the first revelation that had been sent to him is Surah Al-Alaq,

“Recite in the name of your Lord who created”

It is mention from the first verse itself, the word IQRA’ which mean RECITE, that most scholars agreed that this word gives the indication of the importance of seeking knowledge ( all kind of knowledge which benefits the deen ), and above all, the knowledge of the Creator and this Deen (ISLAM) .

Read continuously as the more you learn, the more you realize how little you know, I suggest a continuous learning will be the best thing to do! After all, you’ll always get to learn something whenever you open a book, right?:)

Isn’t that Rasulullah had left us the two most valuable things that will never let us astray if we hold fast to them ? Quran and the Sunnah!

And this just remind me of what had Sheikh Hussein Yee said, when he challenge us;

“ You proclaimed that you love Allah, but have you spare your time in reading His word? (Quran ), if so, have you memorize it? And if so, have you try to understand His words and implement it in your everyday life?”

“ You proclaimed that you love the prophet, but have you spend your time to go through all of his hadis? If so, have you memorize it all? And if so, have you try to understand and implement it in your everyday life? “

Subhanallah, indeed, there are still a long way ahead us, and still, we think that we had knew enough? I believe that, our deen is not just about praying five times a day, or fasting in the Ramadhan, or paying the zakat, or perform istikharah ( seriously, I can’t understand why most of us are more worried of something that is not certain
(marriage) rather than something that will be a certainty to us (death).

But, as I say, Islam is more than that, it is our way of life, it start from the time we arise early in the morning until we close our eyes at night. Its about our relationship with the Creator and our relationship with His creation. It is about sharing and helping others , rather just helping yourself , indeed, and this is how it is revealed in the next revelation to our prophet, which is Surah Al-Muddaththir, verse 1 and 2;

“O you who covers himself [with a garment], Arise and warn“

Isn’t cleared that Allah ordered Muhammad S.A.W to arise from his bed and warn his people about Him and Islam? Scholars agreed that this verses show how much important that we have to implement the knowledge that we had learn, especially the knowledge of our deen. But when it comes to implementing it, some of us forget the most important thing of their purpose of creation,

“And I have not created the jinn and the men except that they should serve Me.”
(Az-Zariyat: 56)

Let us reflect our action in everyday life, is it just the matter of pleasing people or pleasing the one and only Lord, Allah? I believe, each of us has desire to live happily in this world, but it is important for us as well, to spend time and effort in investing in the hereafter. When I say, investing in the hereafter, I am promoting on our contribution to this deen. What can we do ( in our strength ) to help this deen? What would be your legacy for this ummah? I just can’t stop envying people who get to live while motivating others, sharing their knowledge of this deen, imagine, what blessing that Allah had bestow in one life whose work is travelling around the world spreading about Islam? Subhanallah, I love those kind of people, and hope to be one too one day! ( Amin )

This is absolutely different with one that makes the world record of travelling around the world within 365 days? That most of us now are busy with just making a world record? How about our real record that is written by Rakib and Atib?

People who aim the akhirah, will have a better life in this world, as I remembered a quote from our dear brother in Islam, he stated;

“As we drive in our road of life, we always need to refill our fuel ( IMAN ), let the 'dunya' be our transport to 'akhirah'”

In other words, whatever we try to achieve in this worldly life, let our ultimate goal be to enter the Jannah! After all, is not the best thing for a Mukmin to have is to see their Lord face when entering His paradise? I believe that is the greatest reward, indeed! And thus makes a believer to try their best to be on their best behaviour. It was mentioned good tongue leads to good heart, hence a person that properly guard his/her deen, will definitely has a good personality to begin with.

Walk the talk, would be my advise ;D ( for me too!)

It doesn’t matter who you are, share anything you know about deen to others, especially to which that are close to you, maybe you are not from that important and famous person, but you have important person around you, your family, your friend, your spouse, your children and your neighbors, you don’t have to be ‘someone’ to spread this knowledge, you just have to be yourself , the most important thing is your intention, let it be that so others can benefits what ever you had shared with them and brought them close to Allah in remembering Him.

The next formulae would be about the third revelation that Allah had revealed in Surah Muzammil verse 1 and 2; the most important thing indeed!~

“O you who wraps himself [in clothing], Arise [to pray] the night, except for a little”

It is all about our relationship with Him, as it is stated in this verse, praying in the night, is our qiamullail. Scholars believe that they are the power that lies in one’s qiamullail, when the time where all of our fellow humans are sleeping soundly, there is the time when we wake up and silence is the only sound, with the blessing of Allah, we take our ablution and pray tahajud.

That is the time, when there is One who remains awake and waits for us to call on Him. That is the time when Allah will come to His servants. Imagine this. The Lord of the universe has offered us a sacred conversation with Him. That Lord waits for us to come speak with Him, and yet many of us leave Him waiting while we sleep in our beds. Allah (swt) comes to us and asks what we want from Him. The Creator of all things has told us that He will give us whatever we ask.

We are told in the hadith qudsi:

“Our Lord descends during the last third of each night to the lower heaven, and says: ‘Is there anyone who calls on Me that I may respond to him? Is there anyone who asks Me that I may give unto him? Is there anyone who requests My Forgiveness that I may forgive him?’” (Bukhari and Muslim)

Imagine, at those moment of silence, in such a peaceful night, we raise our hand and we tell everything that happen to us to Him ( although there is no doubt that He knows all ), but still, you felt somewhat lighten up by having to release all your burden mind to Him, and suddenly, you felt relieved and tranquility entered your mind and heart at that moment, while you shed tears in front of Him, still your heart feel at ease, like someone has comfort you from your trouble.

That is the time we had our sacred conversation with our Lord.

Who would you think that know best about the creation other then it’s Creator itself? Just like scientists who knew best about their machines, carpenters who knew best about their furniture, architects who knew best about their buildings,

And who knows ourselves best other than Allah Himself? He is the one that create us, He is the one that knows us best!

On that Day, we will see the true reality. On that Day, we will realize that two rak`at (units) of prayer were greater than everything in the heavens and the earth. We will realize the priceless check that was left on our doorstep every night as we slept. There will come a day when we would give up everything under the sky just to come back and pray those two rak`at.

There will come a day when we would give up everything we ever loved in this life, everything that preoccupied our hearts and minds, every mirage we ran after, just to have that conversation with Allah. But on that Day, there will be some from whom Allah (swt) will turn away… and forget, as they had once forgotten Him. Nauzubillah!

Build your relationship with Allah! Pray tahajud! Have a sacred conversation with Him!
*reminding myself above others*

As we try to change to a better person in this world, remember this formulae and imply it in our daily life;

Recite, Warn, Build your relationship with Allah ;)

Insya Allah, we will be a better Muslim in a way that we can help others to know Him better, I believe the changes has to start from within ourselves…

As Rumi had quoted;

"Yesterday I was clever. That is why I wanted to change the world. Today I am wise. That is why I am changing myself".

Realize your dreams!~

When someone ask me." What makes you felt motivated every day? I just smiled and said, "I pictured myself in a motivated mood and pray to become one! And she will look at me with her questioned face. I smiled knowing what is playing in her mind at that time.

" And remember! your Lord caused to be declared (publicly): "If you are grateful, I will add more (favours) unto you; But if you show ingratitude, truly My punishment is terrible indeed." (Ibrahim : 7)

To be truthful, there is no other word to show my feelings right now except GRATEFULNESS.

And all start with a dream.

I dreamed of memorizing the whole Quran, and I accomplished it, Alhamdulillah!

I dreamed of being an IIUM student, and I got it, Alhamdulillah!

I dreamed of being a bi'ah leader, and I experienced it, Alhamdulillah!

I dreamed of furthering my studies in law, He fulfilled it, Alhamdulillah!

I dreamed of having good friends around me, He destined it, Alhamdulillah!

Anyway, why do I talk about dreams this much? Here is where this interesting story begin!~

"Your mind is so powerful that if you believe in achieving something, you'll get it! Insya Allah!" a quote from Prof Muhaya.

" Even if we dream of marrying a rich man?" one of the participant joked.

"The key is to believe in Allah and your dream! But of course, every dream must come with a good intention, only then, He will help you in realizing your dream!" Prof Dr Muhaya answered. Keep your surrounding with positive environment, it'll give you the energy of being an optimist. Have this situations ever happen to you on this past decades you're living?

Situation 1#
You just thought of someone that you may need on that particular time to help you with some tasks , At that time you ask Him for help and you realize just then, you accidentally bumped into that person on that time. Who destined that to happen?

Situation 2#
You felt sad knowing that you failed a subject after you had work hard in it, and at that time you ask Him for strength, just than your friend came to motivate and comfort you. Who send a good friend to you in the time of despair?

Situation 3#
You caught in a traffic jam on your way to your workplace, then you prayed to Him for a relief, and just then as you realized that you just come on time. Or that your boss forgive you for the late comings. Who would you think that guide you to the road safely or who authorised the feeling of forgiving in your employer's conscience?

There is only one answer for these questions above, and I say it is Him, ALLAH, the AlMighty and the All-Knowing!~

Hey, you got the same answer as mine, right?:)

Now, you get the point here, don't you?it is all about our TRUST!

When we put our trust in someone, we'll tend to give up all the things we had just to be with him, when we put a trust in someone, we tend to sacrifice all that we had for the one we trust. When we trust in someone, we'll believe in everything he tells and does to us. Don't we? *typical Malaysian drama*

But just as we try to change that "someone" to "Him"? Try it, that is when you will feel the trust you put in is the best thing to do!

Have we trust in this ayat?

"He knoweth the unseen and that which is open: He is the Great, the Most High.It is the same (to Him) whether any of you conceal his speech or declare it openly; whether he lie hid by night or walk forth freely by day." (Ar-Ra'd: 9-10)

But, has this passed in our mind sometimes?

" I had studied all night, and now I just have to put my trust in Him,Hm, Is He going to help me with this examination?". You trust him but, at the same time you still keeping a little doubt in your heart about Him, you're questioning about His help without realising it!

Or may be, you have put your full trust on Him in succeeding the exam , on the contrary, you didn't do well in it and you tend to blame Him because of your failure? Is that we called as a full trust?

Let us comprehend upon this beautiful and meaningful ayat He had proclaimed;

"But it is possible that you dislike a thing which is good for you, and that you love a thing which is bad for you. But Allah knoweth, and you know not" ( Al-Baqarah: 216)

How glad if we can apply this ayat in our everyday life, we will learn to put a full trust in Him!~

We didn't want to end up our dream just like the companion of the gardens right? Let us take a good reminder of this story in Surah Al-Qalam; ayat 17 until ayat 27.

" Before they go to sleep, they tell each other about their plan to cut their fruits in their gardens early in the morning when their poor neighbours were asleep so that they will not try to beg them some foods when they awake. Unfortunately, because of their bad intentions upon the poor people, what do you think Allah had done to their gardens?

Early that morning, as they set out in determination, assuming themselves to be able to cut their fruits and save for their own good, they found out that, their garden had turned into a dark and desolate spot and it became as though reaped."

The moral of the story: Whatever we dream of doing or becoming, make sure it comes with a good intention. For example, you want to have a lot of money, so that you can help the poor people, that is a good dream, so go on in realizing it!

Don't afraid to dream, because when you dream, you will have the courage to fulfill it and that was the time,when you became brave enough to take in every risk that pass on your way in fulfilling your dream.

"The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams"
Allah is always there to help you, PUT YOUR FULL TRUST IN HIM=)

3 comes before 8!

Bismillahirrahmanirrahim!

One of the happiest moments in my life, I had married!

To a man that I can say would be my ideal type that I search for a husband.
He is cool, good looking, educated, humorous; above all he is such one that take Islam as his way of life. He chose Rasulullah as his role model and stories of sahabah (Rasul’s companion) as his bedtime stories, he even shared with me all the stories and I would be engrossed with all the amazing and enchanting stories of the sahabah ( Radhiallahu anhum) that he told me.

3 May 1989

My first baby was born, and I named him Zayd after the name of Rasulullah’s adopted son, whose name is spelled directly in the Quran. Alhamdulillah, was the only word that passed from my lips at that moment, with my husband beside me, I felt blessed indeed,

Thank You Allah!:)

“ Sister, Is this a true story? Because if it is, I would like to meet them!” They seem to like this story.

“ This is a true story of Mu’min, where ever and whom ever they are,” I confessed. They’ve been bless with a good family, Alhamdulillah, but one day, Allah tested them.

“With?” the sisters asked.

10 July 1989

It was that early morning, about 3.00 a clock, Zayd’s cries surprised me. I rushed to him as soon as I find myself fully awaked. I assumed that he was hungry, I try to feed him, but then, he wouldn’t stop crying.

So, I assume that he needs to change his diapers, I checked but it is still clean. Then I tried to soothe him like I always do to make him sleep, I caress his temple while reciting some ayat, but things just getting even more worse.

I felt my heartbreaks as I saw him crying, I start panicking and woke my husband from his snooze.

‘There must be something wrong with him, let’s go to the clinic”

My husband hurried for the dressers and got himself fully attired. As we arrived at the clinic, the clock showed exactly 4.30 A.M. Luckily, the doctor assured us that there is nothing wrong with the child, just a cause of ‘colic’. For a few weeks of early growing babies, they have times as their digestive systems are maturing, they may have frequent and painful tummy aches due to an allergy or intolerance to certain substances resulted from the feeding. Thus makes them cries.

We went back home feeling relieved as we saw Zayd finally asleep when I cradled him carefully towards his crib.

“ Huh, sure it makes the couple uncomfortable enough thinking that something might had happen to their newborn baby!” One of the sister exclaimed.

“ It can’t be help, it’s nature’s feeling” one of them added.

“True, what feeling’s do you supposed that occupied the mother’s heart at that moment when she hears her baby was crying?”

“Worry, pity but most of all love and care!” They answered confidently.

“But then…” I try to continued my story.

“What happened?” They asked curiously.

Another call was heard, and what does the couple told each other at that time?

“ Wait a minute, just a short nap, it has been a tiring day!”

It was the call of AZAN!

Is it what usually happened around us? If not, it did happen to ourselves, right?

Whenever things unusual happen to us, we rushed for an aid, but have we rushed to ‘aid’ our soul? Faghfirli, Ya Rabb!

Haven’t it been cleared as the Muazzin stated,in every Subuh’s,

“ Prayers is better than sleep, Prayer is better than sleep!”

“Is it not what we love most in this worldly place?” I remind them.

Turn to Surah Al-Imran, verse 14,

“Beautified for mankind is love of lusts, that which the self lusts after and calls for, beautified by Satan, or by God as a test — of women, children, stored-up heaps of gold and silver, horses of mark, fine [horses], cattle, namely, camels, cows and sheep, and tillage, the cultivation of land. That, which is mentioned, is the comfort of the life of this world, enjoyed while it lasts, but then perishes; but God — with Him is the more excellent abode, place of return, which is Paradise, and for this reason one should desire none other than this [abode]”

But have we realized who is the Most Merciful- the Most Loving and the Most Caring to His creation?

And who is the one who authorize the feeling of worry, love, and care deep inside the mother’s conscience?

Allahu Akbar! He is the greatest!

“…That, which is mentioned, is the comfort of the life of this world, enjoyed while it lasts, but then perishes; but God — with Him is the more excellent abode, place of return, which is Paradise, and for this reason one should desire none other than this [abode]”

Back to Surah At-Taubah, verse 24;

When Allah says the word ‘than’ doesn't mean that we have to neglect or to throw away the feelings we had towards our beloved one, it just to show that 3 has to come before 8!

“3 have to come before 8? Care to explain, dear sister? I s it some sort of mathematical formulae or what?” They seem confused.

But I just regard them with a grimace :]

“It is the formulae to solve His undeviating Love!”

“ What is it? What is it?” The sisters cry impatiently.

“ To love Allah, to love his Messenger and to love Jihad MORE than to love the 8 things mention in verse 24 of Surah At-Taubah.”

They nodded affectionately.“And what is the best aid to fits in with this formulae?” I questioned them.

“Our conscience in arithmetic!” One of them joked.

I laughed as I heard one of them blurt out;

“Eventually, we’ll have to admit that number 3 do have to come before number 8!”

“Actually, the best aid is.” Before I have the chance to answer my own question, I heard their reply;

“Don’t ever give up!”

I nodded and smile approvingly. As my eyes formed tears and touched my cheek that instant, I purposely wipe it as I whispered,

“Let us be your humble servant, Ya Rabb!”

“Our Lord, do not cause our hearts to deviate, do not cause them to incline away from the truth, in [their] desire to interpret it, such as is inappropriate for us — as You caused the hearts of those [others] to deviate — after You have guided us, [after] You have shown us the way to it; and give us mercy from You, as a strengthening; You are the Bestower.” (Al-Imran: 8)

Don't Give up!

"Say: "O Allah. Lord of Power (And Rule), Thou givest power to whom Thou pleasest, and Thou strippest off power from whom Thou pleasest: Thou enduest with honour whom Thou pleasest, and Thou bringest low whom Thou pleasest: In Thy hand is all good. Verily, over all things Thou hast power."(Al-Imran: 26)

Assalamualaikum!

I did mention about ‘another long story’ in the recent post, right?

Let me retype the last question, in case you forgot.

“How can we get His Love, what’s the best way?”

"And to tell you the truth, do you really know what my answer would be?

I can’t tell!” really, that was my reply. Not that I can’t tell because it’s some sort of ‘private and confidential’ things to be, it is just that, I really didn’t know the exact thing to apply with when it comes to ‘doing something best’ or ‘the best way’!

As for me, no matter how much you’re trying to do the best in seeking His love,there is still a long way to reach it, no offense, I’m just telling this so that you can think;

Relax your mind for a while and think, you have prayed 5 times daily, do your fasting during the Ramadhan* even fasting on every Monday and Thursday*, you have paid your zakat, every year* and intentionally will do it in the future, Insya Allah*, you read the Quran everyday* some even memorizing it, Subhanallah* and you perform your Haj whenever you have the chances and the money*

But still you can’t felt His Love, haven’t those things happen to you?

And sometimes, some of the people chose to give up! Wana’uzubillah!

“Why,Why, Why this thing happen to me?Why me?Why me?” Keep blaming the One-and-Only-Who-Knows-Best..Wanauzubillah!

That is why, when the sister ask me about the best way, I’ll not tell her to do this or to do that, something that can make her felt closes to Allah, I positively stated that every single of us would know the right thing to do when it comes to pleases Him, right?

But the one thing I would firmly stated is “Don’t ever give up!”, whatever you do or forbid yourselves in doing in order to please Him, there is only one that matters most when it comes to His reward (Jannah). And that is His blessings!

Haven’t Allah promises for whom that put an effort *not giving up* in the seeking of His blessings clearly in Surah Az-Zumar, verses 53?

Say: "O 'Ibâdî (My slaves) who have transgressed against themselves (by committing evil deeds and sins)! Despair not of the Mercy of Allâh, verily Allâh forgives all sins. Truly, He is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

Have faith in him and pray that He will guide us on this journey towards the Eternal! Amin!

The sisters was all in gloomy, “Why with that pity faces?” I asked curiously.

“ People have been created with feelings, right, sometimes we can feel really happy, but most of the time, there something that we can’t tell deep inside our heart, it just happen to makes most of all in sadness and feeling like giving up!”

And one of them continues;

“It is just that, besides the doa, how can we really built this faith towards Him so that we can never had the feeling to give up even once?”

Now, that is a question for me and for you!

“I’ll tell you one little secret that keep playing on my mind lately as I try to understand a verse from the Quran; but before that, do you want to know what’s the ayat is?”

Turn to Surah At-Taubah, verse 24;

“Say: ‘If your fathers, and your sons, and your brothers, and your wives, and your clan, your kinsmen, and the possessions which you have acquired, and merchandise for which you fear there may be no sale, no longer viable, and dwellings which you love, are dearer to you THAN God and His Messenger and struggling in His way, so that you have refrained from emigrating and struggling for the sake of such [things], then wait until God brings about His command — this is meant as a threat to them. And God does not guide the wicked folk’.”

Have you realize that Allah use the word “THAN”? Which mean “MORE”?

Have we considered and think deeply in our heart, have we been that person who loves Allah, and Rasulullah, more that anything in this world?

And that makes the sisters startled in a minute before confessing;

“ Subhanallah, it is a long way in seeking His Love! It is not as easy as we thought, have we felt save already with all the good deeds that we have done all this years? As if we felt confident that we’re the one that will have His reward in the HereAfter?”

I nodded approvingly. Do you want to hear a story?

They all lighten up and smiled as they lend their ears to hear this ordinary story of mine:)

Seeking the True love!

In the Name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful.

Let me asked you a question, dear brothers and sisters.

When someone asked you this:

“Do you love your wife/ husband?”
“Do you love your siblings?”
“Do you love your kin ships?”

How would you respond?

“Of course I do!” most of us would answer.

“ How do you show it?” Again, most of us will immediately proclaimed without any doubt;

“ I’ll do anything that will please them, we even makes surprises on some special occasions in the favor of making them happy.”

But, undeniably, some will added;

“ but you know, when it comes to a relationship, problems and misunderstanding can slightly occurs between us, and when it did hit some of the couples, being considerate to each other will be a better option and solution, in that case, they’ll never do something that will regret them for the rest of their life! ”

“And that is…” I asked blindly.

“Divorce, of course!” the sister answered shyly* she is married, by the way*

“Oh, I see!..hehehe” I smiled.

Sure you have a point, there, sister!:)

Wait, why did I mention this much? Is there something that I missed?

And, one of them would say;

“ the best love is to Allah and His messenger (Muhammad S.A.W)!”

“Indeed, sister, the best and the only true love would be the Love Of Allah and Muhammad, Rasulullah”

The question is how do you show it?

“ I’ll do whatever that pleases Him ad follow the Sunnah!”

Well done! It’s the best thing to do, indeed!

But wait! It’s not as easy as you think, sister, because when it comes to seeking His love, you’ll be tested.

“Test?” they all nodded agreeably. “ Yes, indeed, if something bad happened to us, it doesn’t mean that Allah displease us, it’s His test to increase our stage of Iman!”

Then, I asked her again;

“Something bad? Is that it? Just if it’s something bad happening to you, that would be the only test?”

Revealing the ayat from Surah Al-Baqarah, verses 155;

Allah had stated;

“Surely We will try you with something of fear, of an enemy, and hunger, by way of drought, and diminution of goods, as a result of destruction, and lives, as a result of slaughter, death and disease, and fruits, by way of crop damage: that is to say, We will try you to see if you practice patience or not; yet give good tidings, of Paradise, to the patient, (during calamities;)”

How about someone that lives happily and blissfully?

Heh, they got all they wanted. What bad thing can happen to them?
They have money, they can buy anything, they have children they proud of, they have educations that they can work with..

Are they being tested too? YES!

Let us turn back a bit, to the ayat mention above;

Didn’t Allah mention about fear? Checked!
An enemy? Checked!
Hunger? Checked!
Drought (or shortage of supply)? Checked!

Diminution (Reduction of goods), ex. Food? Checked!
Loses of lives (our beloved ones, to be precise)? Checked!
Disease (our sickness, even if we’re having just a cold)? Checked!
Damages of crops ( something that we valued as it comes from your hardship and your work done)? Checked!

Are we making a list now? hehe
YES! I would like you to list it even not on a piece of paper, let it be on your mind, right now..

Because, here the real question..

Have you imagine that all of those things mention above have been playing on the mind of the ‘riches’ or the ‘blissful people’ Have you ever wonder?

Even the riches man alive, although they live happily and successfully,
saying joyously,” Oh, I’ve been bless indeed, this is all because my hardship during this years, I’ve been struggling to get this certificate, and now, I excelled and have a better life and job”

But, he forgot mentioning something really important!

“All praises to Allah!”. He totally forgetting it, and that is when Allah’s blessing took over,

“When?” The sisters are eager to know.

“When He put FEAR in their little hearts.” I said.

They;

FEAR of losing their money,
FEAR of losing their child,
FEAR of losing there job,
FEAR of losing by their enemy,
FEAR of losing anything that he had with his hardship,

Why did Allah mention FEAR from the first line?
Why? Because fear is the biggest test that Allah had given to us and to all!

And that is the test, whether we become the believers or the non-believers. And look how the ayat end beautifully?

“..But give glad tidings to those who patiently persevere,”

And Subhanallah, how the ayat continues;

“Who say, when afflicted with calamity: "To Allah We belong, and to Him is our return; They are those on whom (Descend) blessings from Allah, and Mercy, and they are the ones that receive guidance.”

Indeed, only the ones that receive guidance would be the one that been bless by Him.

It doesn’t matter if you’re the poor or the riches, in the end there is only Taqwa that matters most. See how He’s testing us now? And what did most of us do?

Masha Allah, He knows all! And it was just us that being forgetful!

He has remind us in Surah Al-Fajr, verses 15 and 16, as he proclaimed;

“And as for man, the disbeliever, whenever his Lord tests him and honors him, with wealth and other things, and is gracious to him, he says, ‘My Lord has honored me’. But when he tests him and restricts his provision for him, he says, ‘My Lord has humiliated me’.”

Let us reflect ourselves, have we been the kind of man mentioned above?
Forgive us, Ya Allah, indeed we are forgetful!

“Now, I know, everyone is being tested!” said one of the sisters

“And the test is sign of Allah’s love!” I added.

Can you imagine if Allah hadn’t tested the guy with fear of losses? What can happen to him?

“ He will loses his way from His Guidance and ‘Hidayah'! Is it mention in the ayat itself sister?”

“Yes, you’re right!!” I smiled.

“When Allah gives what you asked for, doesn’t mean that He pleases you, when Allah hold something from you, doesn’t mean that He displease you, it is all part of the test!”

“Do people suppose that they will be left to say, that is, [that they will be left alone] because of their saying, ‘We believe’, and they will not be tried?,(tested with that which will reveal the sincerity of their belief).”
(Al-Ankabuut:2)

We choose to be grateful or to be boastful!

“Sister, you’re right, to seek His love is not as easy as we thought! It could be something we like but at the end we never know if it the best for us or not! Is it bringing us closer to Him or not!” the sister concluded.

“ How can we have His love, then? What is the best way?” another sister asked anxiously.

I smiled before answering;

“Hm, that would be another long story, stay tuned…”

You Teach, You're Educating Yourself..

"A career working with students can often be exhausting, overwhelming, and frustrating at times. There are days that I come home from the classroom and I don’t know if I have enough energy or desire to return the following day. There are times when I finish my lesson and I am not sure if I want to start the next one.
However, for as frustrating as these times may get, there are a million and one other reasons why I love teaching because to tell you, dear friends, being a teacher, is not only teaching your students on particular subjects, being a teacher is to inspire your students to become someone beneficial in the future at the same time, educating yourself more on the meaning of ‘giving’ and ‘spreading love’ for people around you"

Your students’s future lies on how you teach them now

Check your intentions, is it your purpose of teaching is just to fill up your leisure time? Or to see these students being educated well?

As what I get, being a teacher at Sekolah Rendah Islam Baitul Ulfah had made me think and realized…and at that time, I thought, Subhanallah, thanks Allah for giving me this opportunity to experience being a teacher to my students~

Here is my story~

Believe me, it is not just an experience of being a teacher, it is more than that..

At exactly 6.50 in the morning, I start my lesson session with recitation of Quran. Some of them is still reading the iqra’ and some of them are reading the Muqaddam. It was a good start though,and I think silently,

Have we start our daily routine with the recitation of Quran? Or we wake up in the morning, having our breakfast and immediately run for work?

Nastaghfirullah..

Suddenly, one of my student cries and yelled, I want to go home!!

Okay, I understand, being a Year 1 student should make her a little homesick, they’re still trying to adapt their selves in a new environment named school. don’t you think? Reviving back on my younger times where there is a boy who won’t enter the classroom whenever his mom send him early in the morning, and he’d rather clinging on her mom’s back crying, and there seems not a way that anyone can drag him into the classroom not until my teacher try her best in persuading him.

Have you ever wonder?

Being a teacher is not just being a teacher, but you also being a mother or a father to your students. During the school session, they will be depending on you in everything.

And as I stand firmly in front of them, somewhat, there something excite in my mind and soul at that time, the feeling of love~ the feeling of making them understand the topics that I’ll teach, the feeling of giving and sharing ‘Ilm.

And that makes me realize, how teachers can still be patience whenever their students are in that bad behaviour.Because they love them, teachers always wanted the best for their students, but have we been doing the best for them?

And when every time, they seems eager to know about certain topics, whenever, “teacher, I don’t understand about this and that” phrases came out from their lips, and they would look at me with that questioned-faces, I felt my love for teaching grows unintentionally days by days, and the hard times I get, having to walk from our rented house to the school, preparing for their lunch, watching them taking their bath, it was a tiresome, but in the end, I can bear it, Insya Allah.

“ You have to prepare for their foods?” and “watching them bathe”

I nodded. “ It’s not a bad thing, right.” “but should teachers just teach? “Why do I think that you’re seems like being a baby-sitter rather than a teacher?”

I laughed responding my friend’s query. Its not that something I dislike to do, I like kids, after all, but being a teacher in a private school, moreover, most of the kids here, I assumed be living in a luxurious life, I can’t blame them for being a bit spoiled. They have maids doing all their works. Even some of my students can’t even open their shirt’s button by them selves. But I know exactly how they felt.

They have working parents, and the only time they have with their parents were at night, that if their parents came home earlier or the kids are not asleep. Do you get it? And looking at them, I know they are trying to find the love they want.

Subhanallah, I do learn a lot here, Allhamdulillah!

Being a parents is not an easy job especially when we have to divide our times between work and family.

Reviving back the time when I attend a Seminar by Prof Dr Muhaya in KL, a few weeks ago, I quite amazed of her on how she manage to organize her life, being not only a doctor, a wife, a mother but a motivator too. This more or less makes me positively believe, that there is nothing that we can't do if we want to. Who says that being a doctor will never have the time-well-spent with the family? Who says kids will be lacking of care and love from their working parents?

It is all within yourself, how’d you organized your life and it start now, dear friends ,not after you get married, or a few days before you get married,..how you had organize yourself now? You will get the result in 10 years times ahead.

Right, back to my unfinished stories, there is time, that really makes me want to role back my life again..it was like the picture keep playing on my mind all the time, even when I’m not there with them now..

I believe this is what every teacher would feel over their students..whenever their students knows how to apply what we’re teaching in their daily life's.

I was teaching about sins and reward on that day, when suddenly one of my student raised his hand and asked,

“Ustazah, kalau kita buat jahat, kita dapat dosa kan?”

I nodded and smiled.

“ Tapi kan ustazah, kenapa orang besar kat luar sana, buat jahat, diurang tak takut dapat dosa ke?”

Masya Allah, a brilliant one indeed, even a kid on this age, 7 to be precise, know the meaning of ‘fright’ or ‘afraid’ to have sins, have we as youngsters or adults have apply the words before we try to act upon something bad?

Have we been a good example or a good role model for the kids nowdays?

I try to apply everything I teach to them, during the classroom, and I’m happy to see them co-operating that much. Even when I asked them "Who wants to pick those tiny craps of paper on the floor?" They all will raised their hand willingly and asked me to pick them. Suprisingly, one of them blurt out,

“Ustazah, ada benda lagi tak boleh saya buat, saya nak dapat pahala jugak!”

Subhanallah! I felt blessing around me at that time.

To tell you the truth, sitting with them can make me think a lot, because as a kids at their age, they seems to take whatever the saw around them and they will start to questioned it, because their such an innocent kiddos, but ask yourself, how do we prepared ourselves to face nowdays growing kids?

They came out from their mother’s womb to the world with too much entertainment, and technologies, sometimes, they can even be more advanced than us.

“Ustazah, ade facebook? ustazah buat tumbler tak?” wow, you children sure knows everything!~

See my point here? Just think, of the kids that we shall raised 10 years ahead?It sure is challenging if we do not prepared ourselves from now on..

The Beauty of Songkla,Thailand ( Part I )

Alhamdulillah, another journey I've been through during my holiday, All praises to Allah for giving me this treasured opportunity to be in Songkla,Thailand, to experienced the way of life of the Muslims there.

Subhanallah!Subhanallah!Subhanallah!

I still can't believe it myself, that I've been there a few days ago, it's suppose to be my sister who should be going on this trip, but due to certain circumstances, and luckily, it was during my holiday, so, my father asked me, and so I decided, why not going to a new place? And it is Thailand!~

Thailand? right on that moment, my mind was full of images of the killing scenes where the Muslims being attacked by the barbarous soldiers and unpleasant feeling strike me that instant.

"Are you sure it will be safe? my mum asked curiously. And then my father reply," Insya Allah, I’ve been there once".

That's quite assuring, I guess. But still, I'm not in a very pleasant mood when we arrived. We arrived there at about 9 p.m and we immediately stop at a restaurant, huh,this long journey really caught me starving.

Done with our dinner, we were brought to a hotel nearby the beach. It was dark, and all I saw was a dull-spooky-like chalets.*goosebumps*

What if there something happen in the middle of the night, if there smugglers, robbers,thugs or maybe a VAMPIRE?*there goes my imaginary thought*

What I’m supposed to do in this chalet? it’s just 9.30pm, with no internet access, there is a television but fully in Thai language with no subtitles given? and with no single word I understand?oh, except sawadhikha!hehe

How on earth I’m suppose to live here for another 4 days?? And there it goes again, my imaginary mind works, how can I sleep when my mind is busy worrying that we’re staying just beside the seashore, when at that time, there the breaking news of Tsunami in Japan?

Really an uncomfortable night!

So, I decide to have a quick iadah that night before going to bed, and by reading the Quran, it soothed me in and all. Eventually, I slept and just awake when I heard my clock alarmed at exactly 5 early in the morning.

And , my adventure in Thailand begin~

I walked outside our chalet finding that how amazed I am as the view of the seaside catch my anxious eyes..

Subhanallah, the beauty of Allah’s creation…

The waves was approaching the shore slowly, the wind was blowing lightly and there are palm trees everywhere along the seaside..

What makes me amazed of more is as I saw a group of youngsters having a study circle nearby the seashore, it makes me smiled, what a pleasant view,indeed!~and suddenly, seeing them remind me of my Usrah in Malaysia:’(

And right that moment, I murmured myself, Thailand is not bad after all..

I remember once Brother Lim told me about the influence of the Media to our brain. Just imagine, of all the news that was showed on the television, or wrote in the newspaper, is mostly about tragedy, accidents, problems, and etc…

Heh, if it is not about that, there will be no news right? That’s the way of working in a Media. That’s how they’re paid.

“No news is good news”, as I recall back what my English teacher used to said before we start our lesson back then when I was in Form 1, I realized it now. But that doesn’t mean that we didn’t have to be cautious in times, because we never know when the fatal will come. Wanauzubillah~

Right, talking about I’m in Thailand, Media did influenced me a bit, as I read about the Muslims being suppressed by the soldiers, some been killed, it’s sure give me the negative perception about this country. But, the things seems to be not as what I expected it to be, early that morning, on the 15 of March, we went to the Chana Power Plant Center to attend the 1st National Conference of ASEAN Studies in Islamic Studies and Languages: From Theory to Practice. This Seminar was held with the collaboration of some of the Universities in Malaysia mainly UKM,UPSI AND USIM with the Darul Naim Foundation in Thailand.

And the two days seminar had opened my eyes about these places in Songkla where most of the residents were Muslim as I’ve been informed that in this small city of Chana, there are over 90% Muslim living and surprisingly, most of them can speak Malay. Most of the participants in the Seminar were teachers-to-be, and this Seminar was held to give them the demonstration of efficacious teaching methods in school.

Some of the presentation was delivered fully in Thai Language* which I didn’t understand* but overall I can say that it was a success..Alhamdulillah~

Hey, and we didn’t even get to the best part yet!~

What the best thing I like in Songkla?

Let me tell you, I enjoy every bit of my days in Songkla!~

I was mesmerized by the way of their lifestyle, oh, did I mention that they rented a van to fetch us in Seremban all their way from Thailand? Really appreciate that!~

And I can feel that they really appreciate our visit there, our programme has been scheduled perfectly from the day we came until the last day we’ve been there.And the five days I ‘ve spent living there, had fascinated me of the beauty of Songkla and its people..

What makes me impressed of is how they appreciate Islam as the the way of living in Songkla..Whenever the calling of prayer was heard, the men of Songkla will immediately walked their way to the nearby mosque.Subhanallah!

Even,when we're on our way from Chana to Saddau to visit some of the religious school there, we'll drop to the nearby mosque for praying before continuing our journey.

Fighting Over Your Biggest Fear!~

Salam,right, here's the deal!~

It was midnight and I can't get my eyes shut, it was like something urging me to stay up on this night,my eyes was fighting against my mind~is it permissible,huh?

"May be there is a problem with your Adrenal Glands?" Here come the doctor-to-be*talking about my sister who keep asking me whenever I came up with this kind of situation ,haish~*

Talking about this coming final exam sure making most of us in a big shiver or even lacking in sleep..really, its something that I fear!to sit in an exam~it make me sick just thinking of it but its not my biggest fear though, what I fear most or lacking was a communication skills~

That recall me back what my friend use to advice me when ever I can't get out of my biggest fear especially when it comes to an individual's presentation? To be honest, I really dislike it, to talk in front of the people, in my case, around 40 people in the hall,haih, it something that I'll like to avoid if I can..

But, as it takes a carry marks of 40 to my exam, it something that I can't refuse to do it!~

"Just think, whether you afraid of it or not, you just have to do it, eventually...so, better for you to just let go of your fear!~"-A friend

From that moment, I said to myself: " Why not do some good changes to yourself, You know what your biggest fear, so take your step to overcome it!

I always having questions that needing for answers in my mind but I just afraid to let it out, that's always be one of my problem, I'm just to afraid to accept what would other people think of me..The thing is, I'm not a bit of a 'quiet person' that most of people around me assumed, because truthfully, I'm kind of a 'talkative' sort when it comes to discussions with my friends,

How can I compile this, I always like to talk and share my opinion with my friend* the closest,perhaps*, but not merely to people I'm not acquaintance with~May be that is the cause of people to label me as the quiet one..hmm..

But as I done it, right, talking about the presentations, I'm having in three years time here, I learn that, it something that satisfy you in the end, not just building up your confidence, it also let you to share your thought with others around you!

As I came across an article about 'having to overcome your fear', it makes me think deeply and hard,and suprisingly as I read it, it was like the articles was talking about me, and it strike deep in the bottom of my heart..

It was just like something spark me at that time, something burning within my soul, I need a change, I really need it, if it's for my better future, I will take the risk..what I need is His guidance, yes, and I was suprised that His answer came faster that I'd imagine!

"If Allah helps you, none can overcome you: If He forsakes you, who is there, after that, that can help you? In Allah, then, let believers put their trust.” (Surah Al-Imran:160)

That is when I met a brother in the Interactive Dakwah Training, and I believe this is one of His answers regarding my prayers.

'When will you finish your study in DQ?,"He asked me once." This coming February,I believe,"I answered

"Why not you join us for a special training during your holiday ,helping reverts muslim with their

learnings, I believe I can have some helps especially with the muslimah~"

I was overwhelmed with his invitation, and I happily agreed." This is the chance that Allah gives me that I will appreciate it" I murmured myself.This is like a dream come true! I always like to help others, like I usually done with my aunts~

Credit to my Angah,as she always inspired me with her NGO's association she'd been involving and she never fail in making our family proud of her with all the charity event she's doing in her association~sometimes I just get to be her P.A in conducting the event, now that was an unforgettable experience:)

"Grab the chance,sarah!" my friends are always there supporting me.My parents also came to an agreement.This nevertheless gives me the courage to move on in overcome my fear..yup!

I believe to overcome our fear, is a bit dificult for a start, but believe me, although I'm still afar from successing in fighting my fear, ones you took the step to make a difference to yourself, that will became the boost to go foward for a self-improvement!

When I recall a quote about overcoming our fear, it always begin with difficulties, that I have no doubt about it..and that I have to take as a risk in order to become a successful person in the future..I just have to try~

" Arrow goes forward only after pulling in to backwards.Bullet goes forward only after pressing the trigger backwards.Every human being will get their happiness only after facing the difficulties in their life path,so do not afraid to face your difficulties, they will push you forward"

May be the path that I've chose, is the path towards overcoming my fears, yes, I'm intending to further my study in Law, if Allah wills, and I believe this will be one of my chances in building up my confidence in the future, I've seen some of my family who had succeding in Law and had open their own firm and it really open up my mind to take this course as my future career.

Again, it is all about Allah's will, and I have no doubt that He's the best planner among the best~

Ya Allah, ease my task and grant my wish, I'm just hoping you to guide me towards the best place for me in this world and in the Hereafter~

"Jika sesuatu itu menurutMu baik bagiku, keluargaku, kehidupanku dan kesudahanku, maka Kau permudahkanlah bagiku serta berkatilah, Namun jika menurutMu, sesuatu itu buruk bagiku, keluargaku, kehidupanku dan kesudahanku, maka Kau jauhilah dariku serta Kau tenangkanlah dengan ketentuanMu!~

A+ in friendship?

"Get not your friends by bare compliments, but by giving them sensible tokens of your love."Socrates

I'll like to share a story that really opens my mind; a story of Socrates:)

In ancient Greece, Socrates was reputed to hold knowledge in high esteem.

One day one fellow met the great philosopher and said, "Do you know what I just heard about your friend?". "Hold on a minute," Socrates replied. "Before telling me anything I'd like you to pass a little test. It's called the Triple Filter Test.".

"Triple filter?". "That's right," Socrates continued. "Before you talk to me about my friend, it might be a good idea to take a moment and filter what you're going to say. That's why I call it the triple filter test.

The first filter is Truth. Have you made absolutely sure that what you are about to tell me is true?" "No," the man said, "actually I just heard about it and...". "All right," said Socrates. "So you don't know if it's true or not.

Now let's try the second filter, the filter of Goodness. Is what you are about to tell me about my friend something good?" . "No, on the contrary...". "So," Socrates continued, "you want to tell me something bad about him, but you're not certain it's true.

You may still pass the test though, because there's one filter left: the filter of Usefulness. Is what you want to tell me about my friend going to be useful to me?" "No, not really." "Well," concluded Socrates, "if what you want to tell me is neither true nor good nor even useful, why tell it to me at all?"

Well we can always participate in loose talks to curb our boredom. But when it comes to you friends its not worth it. Always avoid talking behind the back about your near and dear friends

Have you ever take good thought of it? What kind of a friend we are to others?

What kind of friends we held with?

The one who is always there to console you when you want to talk about a problem,

the one who sticks by you through thick and thin,

the one whom you can count on to be there for you,

This is the person who leaves no doubts in your mind that he or she is your "best friend".

You like each other's company and love to spend time together. If something important happens in your life, they're the first to know.

You trust them and depend upon them in times of need. They may be a classmate, a colleague, a neighbor, a sister, a mother; or even your spouse! It could be anyone who fits this description.

But are they really your "true" friend? How can you find out?

Ask yourself: are they taking you towards the most certain and perpetual success and benefit: that of the Hereafter, or are they going to be the cause of regret for you on the Day of Judgment? See for yourself. Here is a checklist.

When in each other's company, you both:

" Comfortably backbite and make fun of people. Pass comments about others. Laugh at others together, be it a passerby or someone you are discussing. Call each other demeaning names in fun. Laugh at each other's cruel jokes about someone else."

" Start a conversation with "Hi instead of Salaam" and plunge into an exchange of the latest gossip. Hardly ever mention or discuss Allah (SWT), Noble Qur'an, Ahlul Bayt or Hadith in the time spent together. Feel hesitant to discuss religion, unless it is a criticism of any aspect of Islam. Confirm each other's doubts about the Hereafter."

Enough?No?Here's more,

Get involved in activities that delay/do away with prayer, the major obligation from Allah (SWT). Support each other in fulfilling every desire - a dress that caught your fancy, or the in-fashion shoes, even if they are not needed. End up spending money on things you don't need. Discuss unimportant things and events in meticulous detail, such as a film, the latest clothes you got tailored, or a wedding party you attended. Never point out each other's faults politely; if one does, the other quickly changes the subject or gets defensive.

Besides the above points, you both are fully aware of each other's family's and in-laws' faults and short-comings. When one of you feels guilty about having committed a sin, the other quickly offers reassurance that "It's no big deal, everyone does it", and comes up with convincing excuses for the other not to feel guilty about it.

When one of you starts doing something that is impermissible in Islam, the other offers support and help; for example, when one starts to backbite, the other becomes attentive and listens closely. When one discovers a shortcoming of the other, they leave no chance to make fun of it.

Have we forget what have been stated in the Quran?

"Ah! Woe to me! Would that I had never taken such-and-such as a friend!"(Al-Furqaan:28)

About a 'friendship' that has most of the above characteristics, Allah (SWT) says in the Quran:

"Friends on that day will be foes to one and another- except the Righteous Ones."(Az-Zukhruf:67)

All such "friends" will, on the Day of Judgment, become each other's enemies, each lamenting and blaming the other before Allah (SWT), for having supported and encouraged them towards the ultimate and eternal destruction. Allah (SWT) makes an exception to this situation in the Qur'anic verse above: "except those who are al-muttaqeen: the righteous ones".

So who are these 'righteous ones', who will be happily together in the Hereafter just as they were together in the world? How can you tell whether your friend is really and truly your sincere "friend"?

Here is another checklist of characteristics that depict a friendship that will lead to success in the Hereafter.

When together, you both:

Remind each other of Allah (SWT) when you set eyes on each other. Leave each other's company with a higher level of imaan [faith in Allah (SWT)]. Inevitably start the conversation with the Islamic greeting 'Assalamualaikum', and receive the reply for it. Almost always mention Allah (SWT), Noble Qur'an, Ahlul Bayt or Hadith in some context or the other, in your conversations.Strengthen each other's belief on the Hereafter. Have watched each other cry, out of fear of Allah (SWT) or out of regret for committing a transgression.Listen attentively if the other is saying something that pleases Allah (SWT).Politely point out and reform each other's mistakes or bad habits in th

e best way possible. Return an Amanah (item placed in other's trust/safekeeping) belonging to the other in its original state. Smile together, but with decent, non-malicious humor. Enquire regularly about the health of the other's family. Become uninterested and change the subject if the other starts to say something that is impermissible. Always discourage the other if they plan to do something wrong. Always encourage the other if they intend to do a good deed that they're hesitant to do. Consult each other in important matters.

Needed most...

Give each other advice seriously and sincerely.Never waste each other's time in useless activities. Never invite the other to a place or gathering of sin. Have full trust that they will never reveal secrets or personal problems to others, nor will they gossip about you behind your back.Address each other in a respectful and loving manner. Forgive each other's faults and shortcomings, and hide them from others.

Those whose friendships possess most of the above characteristics are among the fortunate people who can experience a glimpse of the assembly of Paradise in the life of this world itself, where they have such sincere and true friends - friends who love them for the sake of Allah (SWT). It is they

who shall be saved from all kinds of discomfort and pain on the Day of Judgment when their Lord will provide them with a special place, as per His promise.

A confusing decision?

Salam, right, times sure fly swiftly, holidays arrived!!

For once, I’d imagine that I only get to update this blog once in three months! Talking about having these hectic weeks in DQ, not to mention, it’s our final semester here, everyone’s working on with their thesis,

Yup, talking about writing a ’80 pages report’ of what you’re studied on, as for me, I choose ‘hire purchase: comparisons between the civil and Islamic laws” as my thesis report, really try my best to finish it. Oh, and it seems that our hostel is buzzing around talking about where we would go after leaving DQ this next 3 months ahead.

3 MONTHS!!I know, how times flies :p

And guess what would be one’s ultimate question ever been asked? Where you’re going after this? Are you going to further your study in or out the country? naah, it’s too common, then what?

When you’re going to marry? Wow, that’s a hard question to answer, because truly, I don’t recall I save an answer for that kind of question. Haha, talking about marriage really brings back the memory of doing my MUET writing test, which entitled Arrange Marriage: Is it the best choice? And thankfully, with the help of a bit of memory from my family’s lecture* I’ve grown in this type of family*,I rather give a credit to myself in doing well in the test, Alhamdulillah!* As one’s say, Experience is the best teacher..

You should do it too, it really fun! In that way, you tend to learn to appreciate yourselves and love yourselves nevertheless. Random:)

Okay, talking about where is my next destination onwards sure making me a bit anxious, really I am not quite sure of it! I have listed a few choices that I can consider but seems I lost the ways in making the best choice! And here it goes, I think and think and think, and think again, at last I thought, I’m really in a need of a good supervision from the adults.

And the first person I gone to, would be my father, so I talked to him and asked his opinion where I should go, sure he knows the best, I’m talking and there is a 20 year-of-experienced lecturer in front of me, and to be honest, I always find this warm talk spirited me in the end, I’d always admired my father, his intelligence, his kind spoken, his spirit heart, I even think in finding a husband just like him, no kidding, fathers is every one's hero, right? And talking about his opinion, I knew that he will always want the best for me, he never disapprove my decision, like some family, I realized have put no option to their children’s life.

“You have to be a doctor, you must become a lawyer”. That kind of talk that I assumed youngster would always hear from their bragging parents. But as for me, I can have my own choice of career and I’m thankful for it, but yet in my lack of life experience,*talking about a 20 years old innocent*, I really in a need of the help from the experience one.

The first question that I’ve been asked was “ What course do you rather choose?”. And at that time, without any signal, my brain work and I just blurt it out in front of my father, LAW! And I knew that my heart said the same thing too.:)

My father did give me two options whether I like to go to UIA or USIM, because “ It’s the best Universities with the best Law Department I’ve known” is my father's saying. In fact, I can have both degrees in Law and Shariah if I work hard in it.

But then I realized something, and asked again.” How about going to the Middle East? I recall DQ has adept a link with some of the Universities in the in Middle East in sending their graduated student to continue their study, and so my father asked me again,

“What’s on your mind?“

And I answered, Jordan, I’m thinking of going there actually, it is one of my choice though but I don’t know if it is the best for me, and..

My father smiled, and said, I believed in you, you’re 20 and you ought to know what best for your life, and what ever you choose, I’ll be always giving my hand supporting you from behind and that’s how my warm conversation end, I felt like my burden had been reduced just talking it to my father and slowly I’ve come up to my firm decision.

I’ll apply for Jordan!

But then, it’s about my dearest granny, my only grandmother, the news bring her not –in-a-good-mood,

“Buak po nak poi belajor jauh-jauh, belajor jo la kek Malaysia ne aa!” really my granny, the sweet, lovable and can’t be apart even a year with her familyJ, reviving back when we first been in Brunei and live there for about 6 years long, I can’t recall any single year that my granny didn’t make it in Brunei, not to mention, before my youngest sister was born in Brunei, my granny even have a 3 month stay due to taking care of my mother during her pregnancy.

That is my granny,and I love her very much and so, this make me think again, should I go or stay?

Salam, just in a middle of my holiday*exactly, I don't think I much enjoying it because I rather call it as a thesis-busy-ing day:)*

Right, back to my new post, make it shine!

Yup, no matter what situation you've got into, make it right and never give up.No matter how it turn up to be, you make it good in the end:))

OOH, do wish the best to my dearest sister for her PMR tomorrow...Just how time flies; it has been 5 years since I'd sit for my PMR and yet I felt like it just have been yesterday...

And now, I'm still trying to adapt myself in this new world of learning, where there is no more teachers yet lecturers, no more students yet colleagues, no more homework yet assignments, sometimes, I do wish I 'm back when I'm in my third grades, nothing to worry about, there is much time to hang around and play in the playground during recess.

Yet my time now is mostly for researching and studying, doing my assignment and managing programmes for my club, it is fun though, but something missing right there, it's like someone has been forcing me to do this and that, and my mind just repeating the same phrase ever and ever again,

" You have to do it, it's your choice! It is what you've got yourself into, don't you want to do the best?" and sometimes, just trying being the best is somewhat stressful and distasteful,

It just some kind of disease*a good one though*, it's like something you couldn't resist, once you've got it, you just won't let anyone have it.

When you've got the best mark, you won't dare to make it worse ever. You tend to make it somewhat higher or maintain it once and for all. That kind of disease, I’m talking about.

And yet, when you're feeling low with the grades, it's just something that you couldn't help yourself hearing it, like something had take the most precious thing in your path and you can't stop crying for that.:’(

But it something good, won't you think?

This is what usually happens to me,

Yup, when I cried, I would feel that something bursting in my insight, felt aroused and spirit fill up inside me at the same time, and when I'm done with it, with some motivation from my dearest friends, I've got motivated to do my best the next time I sit in my exam..

Even when I felt sad because my mom called and tell me that she can't pick me that day when it suppose to be holidays in my school, at the end, I've to stay another day in my emptied hostel* the students is pretty much left the hostel on that day, can count the balance of it*

Something to motivates me:

You don't have to be afraid to put your dream in action, your never going to fade you'll be the main attraction,not a fantasy, just remember, when it turns out right, because you know that if you live in your imagination, tomorrow you'll be every body's fascination, in your own victory, just remember, make it SHINE!

Mind THE RULES!

Coming to the end of Ramadan, it sure bring us in melancholy regarding that this could be our last time to cherish this bless month, just hoping that this is not the end of it~ Insya Allah

And here we are, coming to the month of Syawal, should bring the new spirit out of us in becoming a better person to go on with our journey of life, developing stronger and determined character to strive for success in our learning and most of all, achieving the real happiness in worshiping the Almighty.

28 Ramadan 1431

“Start a new leaf, step ahead, let bygone be bygone, look for the bright in your future ” I murmured myself as I step outside my house early that morning, having this pleasant atmosphere around me really makes me in content and somewhat inspirit in and all.

Something exalt in my mind at that moment,

“O you men! It is you that have need of Allah. But Allah is the One Free of all wants, worthy of all praise.”(Al-Fathir: 15)

From rising up in the morning until I closed my eyes in the night, it is all about Allah’s willing me to do. And every strength that he provides for His servant is all about worshipping Him only. Can you imagine living a whole day with His blessing? How miraculous!

Let us make a reflection from our past, what we usually done in our daily,*particularly right when we’re having our school’s day*,have you ever realized the daily routines we’re occupying in being a students is so much organized itself*talking about ones who live in a boarding school*

Our life have been scheduled perfectly from waking up early in the morning, having classes attending until noon, playing football in the evening*for boys*or washing their clothes, preparation class in the night until closing the light at midnight to sleep. And all of that happen in only one condition, having THE RULES.

The formula is obvious, follow the rules and you’ll be freed! Nothing to worry about, no punishment waiting, no detention after class, no scolding in the hall and no hurt feelings. Eventually, you will felt that school is the best place to study in.

And that is all about the manmade rules, what about the rules that has been made by Allah, our Creator?Have we considered following it obediently?

If so, why we’re still didn’t felt the satisfaction in every thing we do?

Let us make a checklist out of it,

“He merges Night into Day, and he merges Day into Night, and he has subjected the sun and the moon (to his Law): each one runs its course for a term appointed. Such is Allah your Lord: to Him belongs all Dominion. And those whom ye invoke besides Him have not the least power” (Al-Fathir: 13)

#1: Even the universe, which I assume bigger than the human beings, followed as they appointed to, but what have we done during the day and in night? Is it something that Allah appointed us to do?

“O you who believe! Celebrate the praises of Allah, and do this often. And glorify Him morning and evening”(Al-Ahzab: 41-42)

#2: Have we made the effort of remembering Him in every moment? Have we considered starting every of our works by praising His names (Asma Ul-Husna)? Even just simply reciting this; In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful, have we?

“But the bounty of the Lord - rehearse and proclaim!”(Ad-Dhuha: 11)

#3: Have we being grateful enough to have what we had? Is there a creator, other than Allah, to give you sustenance from heaven or earth? And have we been those whom give thanks?

“By (the Token of) Time (through the ages), Verily Man is in loss, except such as have Faith, and do righteous deeds, and (join together) in the mutual teaching of Truth, and of Patience and Constancy.“(Al-Asr: 1-3)

#4: Have we made full use of the 24 hours given to us? How about all the exceptions that has been written above, have we done it all?

Allah has warned us with his rules most apparently in this verse;

"Whoever works righteousness benefits his own soul; whoever works evil, it is against his own soul: nor is thy Lord ever unjust (in the least) to His Servants.”(Fussilat: 46)

So what’s more that is important than #5:Follow His rules, and you’ll be saved, because it is obviously written that we will get what we deserved in the end of the time, so ask ourselves, even having punishments in school will ended us with a cold feet, imagine the punishment in the Hereafter? Rather having a cold foot may be we would even felt blistered within our whole body, won’t you agree? Wana’uzubillah!

And so my friends, back to our formula, still remember it? Yes! Follow the rules, and you know what? Do whatever that pleases Him, because;

“The greatest rule of all the rules is simply to please”

And that moment you learn to pleases Him, you didn’t have to imagine living a whole day with His blessing, because you’ve already got it!:)

And you tell yourselves at that time; I have only been created to serve the only God, Allah. Eventually, you will felt that this world is the best place to worshipping Him.

Let us renew our faith and work harder in achieving His blessing, done with the checklist? Don’t forget to check your intentions* using the mind zero process*

Something to share with, hope it can be one of our practices in our daily life, ( it really helps in the zero mind process);

“Had we sent down this Qur'an on a mountain, verily, thou wouldst have seen it humble itself and cleave asunder for fear of Allah. Such are the similitude, which we propound to men that they may reflect. Allah is He, than whom there is no other god; who knows (all things) both secret and open; He, Most Gracious, Most Merciful. Allah is He, than Whom there is no other god;- the Sovereign, the Holy One, the Source of Peace (and Perfection), the Guardian of Faith, the Preserver of Safety, the Exalted in Might, the Irresistible, the Supreme: Glory to Allah. (High is He) above the partners they attribute to Him. He is Allah, the Creator, the Evolver, the Bestower of Forms (or Colours). To Him belong the Most Beautiful Names: whatever is in the heavens and on earth, doth declare His Praises and Glory: and He is the Exalted in Might, the Wise.” (Al- Hasyr: 21 – 24)

Talking about Christianity,he's the best!

Priest: OK,it's a good one,but I'm here with a lot of more questions about Islam itself,and I hope you have the answers..*looking arrogantly*

Priest:Is Your God being fair to Men and Women?

Priest: If so, Why do women have to cover their head under a veil while men didn't have to?

Muslim: Before I answered it,Let me give you a verse in Your Bible;

But a woman dishonors her head* if she prays or prophesies without a covering on her head,for this is the same as shaving her head.Yes,if she refuses to wear a head covering,she should cut off all her hair! But since it is shameful for a woman to have her hair cut or her head shaved,she should wear a covering.*( Corinthians 11: 5-6)

And to answer yours,Let us try to bring ourselves along past the history,in the time of Jahiliyah,didn't women being degraded and dishonored?And as Islam came,it uplifted the status of women around the world by rescuing them with the covering of hijab,in order to save the women's dignity.

Priest: Why can men marry four women but for a woman only one man?Why do Islam encouraged polygamy?

Islam never introduced polygamy,it just set up the limit to it..Notably,before the arrival of Islam,men can marry any number of women whom they like..As what stated in the Quran;

If you fear that you shall not be able to deal justly with the orphans, Marry women of your choice, Two OR three OR four; but if you fear that you shall not be able to deal justly (with them), then only one, or (a captive) that your right hands possess, that will be more suitable, to prevent you from doing injustice. ( An-Nisa: 3)

Didn't it tell you that ISLAM encouraged monogamy instead of polygamy?And all the laws are stated to protect the women.I'll give you an example:

According to research;

There are a number of 3 millions more women than men in England,and about 7.8 millions more women than men in The united States.Think,if there is no permissible for polygamy in this world,tell me,what will happen to other women that not yet married? Or can't be married?

Logically,do this mean that Islam restrict on women's freedom or protected them?

Priest: I love to discuss this with you more but unfortunately,I've work to attend urgently,nice to meet you...*and walk away*

Brother Lim: He didn't have any answer for the questions, or maybe he just got confused with all the explanation,huh?*murmured himself*

We didn't have to be afraid of them because we have the truth!
And as a Muslim, what have we done to spread this religion around the world? Didn't we always heard and read the 3 verses from Surah Al-Asr;

By (the Token of) Time (through the ages),Verily Man is in loss, Except such as have Faith, and do righteous deeds, and (join together) in the mutual teaching of Truth, and of Patience and Constancy.( Al-Asr: 1-3)

Doesn't the phrase give us a huge meaning of Dakwah? To spread the truth around us...

Salam...

I just got my time to dash off on the keyboard after about two months I've been engaged by so-many works and responsibilities. ..So,what are we're going to talk about right now?
I'll like to start with a story,you don't mind,right?*It will be easier this way,I guess*

I'm not going to start with 'once upon a time',since it not a fairy tale:)...It's all started...

"Sis,do you think is important for us to learn about comparative religion?"Asked Brother Lim who is the trainer of the 'Interactive Dakwah Training' course.

"Of course!" The answers from the participant occupied the room at that time.

"Why?"

"It'll be easier for us to understand the non-muslim and slowly draw them and acknowledge them of the beauty in Islam"Answered one of the participant.

"That is absolutely true,but I've got a better answer!"Said Brother Amin,another trainer in this course.

"And to answered this,I would like to tell you a story,is it OK?" continued brother Amin.

We all seated well getting anxious to listen to the story.

'One day,there is a man who owned a luxurious car,name one?I'll take Ferrari for an example;Everyday,he rode his car in pride,sending his son to school,It's a hot weather outside his window but he felt cooled by the high quality air-cond in his car.But suddenly,unfortunately,his car break down and was sent to a car workshop.

He was depressed when he was told that his car is in a need for at least a week repair.

"It's my only car,how can I go to work or send my son to school in a week?"he cries.

But the kind mechanic told him that he can borrow his car for a week in a condition;
"Take care of my babe,he's my only one too!and he's obviously not a Ferrari,just a cheap one!"

So,within a week,he drove the 'second-hand' car everywhere he goes and..
"It's hot,the air-cond was not functioning,I wonder why didn't the mechanic repair his own car?"he complained.As the week pass,he didn't stop from complaining about the old car.

Until,he heard the mechanic said before passing his car key,

"You should be grateful and considered lucky,that you own a comfortable car for a ride,unlike most people,they can't afford it!"

And suddenly the phrase make him think while he sit in his Ferrari,
"oh,I forget that I've been bless indeed to be given this wealth,'Ive seldom been thankful to Allah..All this years,it was just all about pride,but now I understand,It's all about being grateful to the One who gives you everything.

"So,the moral of the story is my better answer,....why we need to learn about the comparative religion?so we can be more thankful and grateful to the one and only God,ALLAH,for giving us the most precious thing in the world, being a MUSLIM."

"The Religion before Allah is Islam (submission to His Will): Nor did the People of the Book dissent therefrom except through envy of each other, after knowledge had come to them. But if any deny the Signs of Allah, Allah is swift in calling to account. "( Al-Imran:19)

" Sis, if it is proven,one day,that the Quran is totally amiss,would you still believe in ISLAM?"

I was totally aghast with the question that has been delivered to all of us,participants,it's something I've never even thought could take up my mind in my entire life.

"Yes,I will still believe in Islam" one of the participants answered.

"Are you telling that you just follow your religion even though it's faulty?Where have your faith gone to?You all have mastered the six tenets of faith,right?Think again carefully.."asked Brother Lim,a revert muslim who was conducting that evening course.

She turn white in confusion..I assumed all of us are in confusion.To be truth, I rather like the way brother Lim conducting it because he really make us to think,and as I thought carefully,I speak out;

"I'll still believe that islam is the only true religion in this world because I believe that Quran is truthful!"I saw him smile but then he asked,"If I can prove you that the words in the Quran are conflicted,would you still believe in Islam?"

"Do you want the prove?"he demand.

And that time,I really was speechless,and obviously confused.Something burning inside me whether it is anger because of the provocation or frustrated because to be honest,I have no answer to that sort of question.

OK,It 's getting hot in here!"Brother Lim joked.This is actually the sort of question machinery in Christianity would shoot.Let me give you an example:

Priest: You believe that Muhammad was the last prophet,right?

Muslim: Yes!

Priest: And you also believe that Jesus is still alive and will return to earth one day,right?

Muslim: Yes!

Priest: Why did you believe that Muhammad is the last,if Jesus is still alive,won't it be that he will be the last prophet?

*The muslim smile in content*

Muslim: Brother,Let me give you an analogy in order to answer your question.Let see if you have an elder brother..and he works outside the country for about 5 years.After he got back,He discovered that you died.Does it mean that he is younger than you? Alternatively, does he still be your elder brother?

*The priest startled in shame*

Muslim: To identify who would be the ending is by getting to know who would be beginning first.As a matter of fact,Muhammad is younger than Jesus makes him the last prophet even though we believe that Jesus is still alive.Is your question answered?

Muslim:Brother,may I ask,you totally believe in Jesus,right?

Priest: Yes!

Muslim: Brother,do you want to know the similarities between Islam and Christian?

* The priest startled......in confusion*

Muslim: Let's play a word match..I give you a verse in Quran that have similar meaning with your bible,I just need you to correct me if I'm wrong,can you?

The priest: Aah..I'll try*sweating*

Muslim:

Say: He is Allah, the One and Only (Al- Ikhlaas:1)
is similar to
Listen,O Israel, The Lord Our God is the one and only Lord( Mark 12:29)

Allah, the Eternal, Absolute( Al-Ikhlaas:2)
is similar too
The Eternal God is your refuge( Deuteronomy 33:27)

He begetteth not, nor is He begotten( Al-Ikhlaas:3)
is similar to
For God is spirit,so those who worship him must worship in spirit and in truth( John 4:24)

And there is none like unto Him.( Al-Ikhlaas:4)
is similar to
You have never heard His voice or seen Him face to face( John 5:37)

Muslim:Is that all written in the Bible?*as what you all will predict,the priest nodded shamefully* And you know,there is so many from Jesus's act in Bible that similar to Muslim,for example:

And just as they were telling about it,Jesus himself was suddenly standing there among them."Peace be with you" he said( Luke 24:36)

And Muslim says 'Peace be with you' as greetings to each other

What you ought to say is,"If the Lord wants us to,we will live and do this or that(James 4:15)

In other words, they do things in God's will( In Shaa Allah),and who usually said those word?

The priest admit and said, "Muslim"

Medan, my second home...

It has been 2 years since I last visited Medan and 12 years before,back then when I was just a little girl..yet I didn't recall anyone I've met in 5 years age time..but it seem this time makes my journey a lot than just a memory but a strong connection of family.

Of course my father was the most excited* truly,I can see from his face and sparkle eyes*, I know exactly how he felt,being apart from the family after 20 years living in Malaysia,he seems to miss them very much although my parents did took every opportunity in going back to my father's hometown in every event they have there,but still it is incomparable than having to live there-since my father grew up there;)..it sure left him the most precious memories in his entire life.

OK,I haven't mention the real purpose I'm here in Medan,actually my parents( as usual) was invited to my cousin's wedding,Kak Maisyarah(the oldest from her siblings and the oldest among us (cousins) too,she is 23,by the way..),so here we are in an airbus AK450,HAHA,still remember the flight serial number:)and since the weather is in a good condition,I fortunately can enjoy the scenery of the cloud floating by where the sun shining beautifully that early morning*OK,I admit,for my entire life riding in the airplane,this is the first time I ride it without falling asleep..since I'm one an easy-going snoozer*shh*..especially when I'm riding the plane at night..(but of course,it is night,rite?)

We depart from LCCT around 7.20a.m,and safely arrived at Medan Poloniya airport at 7.20 a.m(their time)As we arrived,my father has awaited us* long enough, I think* with a huge van,I assumed it's from the hotel we're staying,(how come my father is in Medan?He took an early flight a day before us due to attend a conference here in his hometown)when suddenly a boy approach us begging for pennies and surprisingly he was crippled..Pity flows in my heart and that time I whispered,'Oh,how difficult would that boy having in his entire life?'..How forgetful I am with my life?Subhanallah,save this boy,Ya ALLAH,give him strength..'I prayed..

Alhamdulillah,our shedule there was fully-packed with having to visit my father's family,not to mention,food is easily found here with an affordable rate too!Like what Om Kudri said,Medan was full of restaurant,they just like to eat,RM2.50 for a person is enough to make them full - can you imagine how cheap the rate there?but one thing makes me curious enough,how they maintain their weight?I just laughed hearing Om Kudri replied..'di sini harus kuat kerjanya!'
That night we have our dinner* makan aja sih..hehe* at Pak Haidar' house about half an hour ride from our hotel,I'm surprised that the road was still busy..'Macet' nya Om Kauthar...and although the road was not as systematical as in Malaysia,I can say that Medan's driver was a success,they seldom having accidents here..they seems to know where to go..but one thing I can't stand whenever we're on the road is the way they sound other drivers who pass their way,using horn..OK..that thing is quite annoying..but still I thanked Allah the most graceful,although I'm in a hectic road fulled with people, but still I can seat back in an air-conditioned car felt save rather than walking in the middle of busy road like in Medan..Alhamdulillah..

As we stop on the traffic light on the way to Pak Haidar's house, my sister pointed out of the car's window mentioning to a little girl around 2 years old sitting just beside the street.she was wearing a cloth covering her head looking pathetic as the car passing by her..
"Where can her mother be around this hour leaving her child beside the street,Ya ALLAH,how pity for her..hearing my mother,

"Kalau anak kite masa ni dah nak tidur dah.."make me realised how thankful should I be,but still to see such scenery makes my heart ache for the irresponsible parents out there..
"Maybe they face complications in their life..you should be more grateful with your life.."my sister blurt out.Sure,I do agree with that..Alhamdulillah..

And at that time, I thought,how thankful that my family in Medan was still in a good condition although their houses is rather small to compare to the houses in Malaysia,they still have place to live and shelter from the rain,food to eat and they all educated well..Alhamdulillah..

Seeing my family there make me realised how fortunate I'd be for living in Malaysia but still very lucky to have them as a family in Medan..I can see they all work hard to live well..something spark in my mind that time..

And that time,is when I realized happiness around us as I saw my father gathered around with his other 6 siblings..my 2 Om* pakcik* and 4 tante*makcik* on the day of the wedding...I saw them laughing recalling back the time,I assumed,their childhood;)and wiping tears just like others big loving family whenever we are leaving...and playing with my oh-so-naughty cousins(they're 10 all of them)..it was a tired day after all but I WAS SURE HAVING THE FUN!!!

Seeing them success in their study also make me proud,"jumpa nanti di menara gadingnya!"was their quote,I felt the bond is getting stronger in every moment.And the 3 days I'm having in Medan surely isn't enough for me to have a great time sharing with them as they all*my cousin* are having schools in Saturday..and we are sheduled packed..*I did mention it before,rite:)*

But still,I hope that I can see them again soon..Remembering what my sister said before we're take off..

"Tears falling down as they talk,and speechless was the only word to describe the moment.."commented one of participant.

Alhamdulillah,ALLAH gives me the opportunity to feel the experience and becoming one of the ESQ big and lovable family,not only I met new friend of my own age but also 'seniors' from different kind of background.It was full of unexpected things happen around us within the 3 days course..

~The Big And Lovable Family of ESQ-like my ANGAH named it;)~

I can see some people who finally find their true self not only we manage to seek our hidden potential yet we also get to feel how the bond between us as 'Hamba ALLAH' and ALLAH really can create a success man in his life..

Based on the trainer's experience,they really succeed in opening our eyes of the real happiness in our life..As PAK YAN and PAK ANDI,our Indonesian trainers not to forget ABANG FAIZI,the one and only Malaysian trainer there always said,

"close your eyes and feel the truth within your heart, because it is not our eyes that blind but it is our heart!"

"Do they not travel through the land, so that their hearts (and minds) may thus learn wisdom and their ears may thus learn to hear? Truly it is not their eyes that are blind, but their hearts which are in their breasts"
(Surah al-Haj:46)

And every time "Read with the name of your God(ALLAH)" echoed in the auditorium,that is when I felt the bond is getting bigger in my heart as well others,I can't really explain it but this is what makes my heart grow stronger in faith to ALLAH..

I felt it in my heart with my eyes closed,I felt it in every of my 'sujud' but the most unforgettable and momentous is when I felt the He hears me and that He is so close to me at that time...and that time,I really can't stop my tears from falling down..
How forgetful are we?How arrogant are we?*reminding myself before others*

"And swell not thy cheek (for pride) at men, nor walk in insolence through the earth; for Allah loveth not any arrogant boaster.
(Al-Luqman:18)

Have we forget what we had promised in the Quran?

"When thy Lord drew forth from the Children of Adam - from their loins - their descendants, and made them testify concerning themselves, (saying): "Am I not your Lord (who cherishes and sustains you)?"- They said: "Yea! We do testify!" (This), lest ye should say on the Day of Judgment: "Of this we were never mindful"
(Al-A'araf:172)

How can we forget that we are alive now holding our promise to the only God(ALLAH)?
Astaghfirullah,how can we bring up ourselves to HIM in the day of Judgement?

It is something that sometimes I forget too..
Astaghfirullah...

And that time whenever it remind me,I just put up my hands while reciting this in my heart;

"Our Lord!" (they say), "Let not our hearts deviate now after Thou hast guided us, but grant us mercy from Thine own Presence; for Thou art the Grantor of bounties without measure."
(Al-Imran:8)

Forgive Me,Ya ALLAH..
Guide me in my way and never let me go astray...

The Chosen One!

One day a father ask his child,' How about a quiz for you, young man in this bright beautiful day?'

His child nodded excitedly'but of course,father!'

'There was a child who was born as an orphan.His father died before his birth.His mother died too shortly thereafter and has been raised by his uncle onwards,do you know him,my child?

He nodded and answered,' He is Muhammad,the chosen one!'

His father continue..'Who is a humble merchant who could not read or write but has change the face of Arabia and has influence every corner of the world with his both religious and secular successful level?

He smiled and answered,'He is Muhammad,the chosen one!'

'With eyes as bright as the sun, a reality on his lips more brilliant than the light of the sun, a heart more fresh than the flowers of the garden, habits and morals more decent than the moon, Who is the great man,my child?'

Again,he replied the same answer,'He is Muhammad,the Chosen one!'

' What guidance that he had left for us as a legacy that he promised during his farewell speech,whoever hold fast to them,they will never go astray?'

'Quran an as-sunnah,father!'He answered.

'Indeed,my child,and he is the one who loves you,who love every single person in this world,loving his ummah wholeheartedly until even on the day of his death still managing to call out his ummah.'ummati,ummati!,right?'
He nodded.

'And so,this is my real question,my child'

'How do you show your love to him,my child?

He was speechless..and he held his head low staring at the floor.

His father smiled looking at that innocent face and said,' most of people, I do believe knew about Muhammad,the last prophet,but seldom they remember to thank him for bringing up the light to this world.'

His child held up his head full of curiousity in his eyes,'but how can we show our love or thank a person that is not here any longer?

'my child,how you show your love towards ALLAH is how you're going to show your love towards Muhammad..'

Knowing the child is still looking in a blank,his father giggled and continued,' How you obey Allah,that's how you're going to obey Rasulullah, follow his guidance in Sunnah!'

'How you pray to Allah,everyday, that is how you're going to pray to Allah in giving peace upon the Messenger,Muhammad!'

'How you knew He love us more that everything in this world,that is how you'll show him you love him by being the best in this world!'

'How he show and guide us in every of his doing during he lives, that is how you'll going to follow at this time when he is no longer to be here with us!'

Because my child,he loves us 3 times more than he love his ummah back then when he alived,'

'I didn't get it,why is it?'his child asked anxiously.

'because we follow his guidance showing that we believe in him and remembered him in our daily life even when we never saw him,how fortunate we are,get it?'

He nodded feeling amazed enough..

'and when we remembered him and pray for him,that is when he will be remembering us and pray for us in the Day of Judgement..'continued his father.

He nodded understanding what his father had spoken to him,and smiled.

'how lucky we are,right,father?'

'Indeed,my child,indeed.'

'Indeed in the Messenger of Allah(Muhammad),you have a good example to follow for him who hopes in( the Meeting with) Allah and the Last Day and remembers Allah much.
(Al-Ahzab: 21)

In a time of darkness and greed,

You came to teach us how to live,

Salam

I'm safely home right now,manage to smile when ever looking at myself in the mirror*not to mention,having this braces did make me felt uncomfortable and pained*

Having to see Dr. Albira( my full-of-patience doc ) every 2 weeks sometimes do make me sick, it's just that I'm not really in a a very least of interested when talking about hospitals*especially when I'm going to see a DENTIST*

But,as the saying, Done what you've started make me a little bit aware of what I've got myself into..and hope this 2 years time will give me the strength to do this..*Having my appetite lost too,sigh*

No whining,please..*reminding myself*

Remind me of a song my sister showed me yesterday,truly, I'm touched..sang by AHMED BUKHATIR

The pain I felt is not that bad after all to compare with other injuries..( at least,alhamdulillah, I had never been in a serious injury..wana'uzubillah )

People just tend to whine whenever something unpleasing happen*including me*,feeling bad to ourselves, yet didn't realised to WHOM actually they felt bad to?

"Be sure we shall test you with something of fear and hunger, some loss in goods or lives or the fruits (of your toil), but give glad tidings to those who patiently persevere. Who say, when afflicted with calamity: "To Allah We belong, and to Him is our return.They are those on whom (Descend) blessings from Allah, and Mercy, and they are the ones that receive guidance"
(Al-Baqarah: 155-157)

If we think a while, how many people around us suffer with what-ever-kind- of misery or illness that sometimes even ended in death..*na'uzubillah* and yet we complained of our distress in work...*reminding myself*

We wish to be like others yet we didn't satisfied on what we had got in ourselves..
We just keep complaining and whining...

We want to be as beautiful as the models out there yet we didn't realised ALLAH had made us as the most beautiful creatures on earth.

We have indeed created man in the best of moulds,

Let us show our gratitude...towards HIM..

After being dormant for a while..this blog is back activated..but I can't guarantee this will go apparently like before but I try my best to 'steal' some time..

'What is the purpose of having a blog if u don't write in it?'..really a straightforward question,huh?

I try to protest,but as I think in a while,there is a right thing in the question..*being an optimist*

Talking about time which flies, I just realised that I have just 1 year left in DQ before I would like to further my study in the university..

Really going to miss here..

Doing my best is my priority.. Surely, 2 years has given me much experience to continue my journey in life.

Memorising Quran along with my friends make us advised everyday.. I had observed a lot these years make me realized and amaze of my own friends..
Even a small little thingy-thing obstacle them,they will take it without pain..

And I realise,everyone can memorize the Quran but not all can remember it fully,and this is one thing I would like to do best before I left this 'Home of Quran'..

' Quran is not for the brilliant ones, Quran is for the one who possess diligence'-

Memorizing Quran is not the same thing as learning subjects.. Even in law,known as legal and factual study sometimes just needing of logical thinking..

But when we talk about Quran,it is something that is so pure and true. Even if we mistaken in uttering the hurf,the meaning would be changed completely..

Maybe you will assume that memorizing the Quran is difficult as we have to focus and care for every phrase we read.Not to tell the tajwid and fasohah will be credit too..

But as the saying..
'Rome is not built in one day',

Just like learning ABC,we learn from recognising the alphabet,uttering the sound,pronouncing the word.. Isn't it took a whole lot of year to become as what we are today?

'Why not used our leisure time to read the Quran that is full of true stories?'my friend asked once we're gathered after having our lunch.

It is true, I realize..why do people rather talk hours and hours on non-important-things than taking only about 10min every time after prayer to read and understand 1 page of the quran?

Just imagine...
Have you ever felt what the Quran will tell us if it can really talk?

'When you're just a child,
you're my best friend,
you touched me with ablutions,
you held and learned me patiently,
you uttered me beautifully,
you kissed me when you're done.

Now,you're getting older..it seem that you're not interested in me anymore..
Have I become obsolete to you? Maybe you think that I'm just for children in their learnings..now, I'd been kept neatly somehow you forgot where you put me.

Sometimes I would be just a dowry for a wedding. And I was left discharge..

In the past,you usually read me with your friends in the musolla,before and after praying,
But now,you are more interested in reading newspapers in the morning, reading other books in the afternoon..
Until,you neglect me even though you knew I'm full of more interesting truth..

As you went to work, you forget to say 'Bismillah',my opening..
On your way, you're preoccupied with English songs.. There is not a single tape of my content in your car..you would rather be listening to your favourite channel in the radio.

You didn't bring me along to your workplace..
'Don't have time to read' would be your excuse..
And I realise that you're not interested in me anymore..

At night,you can hold your eyes hours in front of the television watching your favourite movie. When you're in front of computer,you can sit hours just to play games..

The time goes without you realise, I had become dull collecting dirt in your drawer..

As I remember,when it comes to Ramadhan,that is when you read me again..but not as good as before..

But remember, when you're buried alone,when you would be asked about your deeds,who would you think will help you?
It is ME,that you have read when you're still alive..

But now,you're still wasting your time,in every moment that had past..
Have you realized?

But if you read me again and you enjoy intelligently, I will come to you as a savior from the hell..

I beg you,hold and read me again..and take eternal care of me because I'm Quran,Allah's words for whom that cared and whom that realized.. Take me wherever you go so you can read me and take good lesson from me..

Every morning,every evening and every night..just like when you're just a child back then..'

Eversince I start my new semester,too much suprise encounter me that makes me realise about how precious the 'tic-toc sound' to us..:)

Time is gold,ayte?ya..we often heard of it but have we really 'digest' it?
Ok,it just me babbling again..just realising about how much I miss writting in this *my* blog..talking about the last time I wrote in it..*timing is everything*

Alhamdulillah,Allah give me the strength to take the responsibilities that I've been elected and it turns up to be a good thing in my life..
I'm thanking for it because I know He believe in me..

Why is it always the most thing we ever want to avoid from would be the thing that we will stuck with?

'..but it is possible that you dislike a thing which is good for you, and that you love a thing which is bad for you,But Allah knoweth,and you know not'

We never knew what is the divine purpose behind all the things happen,but we can believe it is all destined for us in a good way..

Once my friend told me..

Both are essential in life.All are Allah's blessing!'

But I prefer it to be,
'Friends are siblings that God give to us in a differ way'

It has been a while( is it?..haha)i haven't writing any post in my blog..really have to do a 'major cleaning' in here..

It just that, to tell you the truth,in a while, my brain will full of ideas in writing but the next,it seems to lost in the wind unconsciously..sometimes I feel like I'm out of the spirit and ' Am I qualified to motivate others as I'm not fully-motivate myself? will always haunted me whenever I start to press a letter on my keyboard..I always intend to find my real strength in it but seems I'm not ready yet until..

You motivate others,you are motivating yourself nonetheless"

"You write, you developed and you will learn!"

And that makes me inspirit and that time I told myself,

"While I have the time and energy, why not use it beneficially?And even I'm not brave enough to talk in front of thousands of people staring straight at me, I'm sure will be brave to write to thousands of people whom happen to hoping in my blog"

As we write,we are actually talking and sharing what exactly playing in our mind, of utmost importance,we write with full sincerity because everything that came across from our deep heart is full of verity.And whenever those pieces of writing spark other in a virtue,that is when we called it as blessings.

Talking about yesterday isn't worth if it happens to be blame of..but if it something that can make us enthusiastic for the future,there is something we need to learn from our past..because the past is a history,and history can be something that we can take lessons from..

And that what happen to me,I was having a dinner with my aunt yesterday along with my friend when suddenly, I felt something is not right( it got to be related with the instincts,I suppose?hmm)

Have you ever felt like crying without any reason to? or you just felt heavy-hearted all in the sudden?or have you ever approach your friend and suddenly told her "I'm sad!" and when she asked about the reason,you just give her a shrug and in a while she will look at you in confusion?

But that time, who will we be thinking utmost?
Yes! ALLAH..
He give us the feeling..for what reason?
I would rather think the answer is all in your mind..
just think of it for a while..
And you will find that it all about ALLAH's love towards us...

And whenever it happens to me,I bear in my mind,

Sometimes ALLAH breaks our spirit to save our souls,
He breaks our hearts to make us whole,
He allows pain so we can be stronger,
He send us failure so we can be humble,
He allows illness so we can take eater care of ourselves,
He takes everything away from us so we can learn the value of everything He gave us..

And that makes me realize and understand that we live by ALLAH'S grace...

"You know the secret of pillars of ISLAM?"My aunt asked me after we have done dining.
(Actually, it just my aunt and my friend who are enjoying the food, not me,because at that time.I'm really not in the 'MOOD')

"It happens to reveal the truth of the world!!"My aunt start her talk.In start,I'm quite confused with her chosen word but I give her a nod to continue her story and that time me and my friend just becoming a good listener to her.

And suddenly, I smiled in gratitude..I felt motivated enough and my mood had slightly change after hearing her talk..My spirit suddenly came back and that time I just console myself,'I have to write about it!"

And I'm doing it now.....still smiling reviving what happen to me last night..

"What is the first pillar in Islam?"My aunt question me.As I answered like a good student to her teacher,"Shahadah la maksyu!..

"It shows that everything we do,has to be based on One God which is ALLAH and our prophet,messenger of ALLAH..
To Him our intention to..
That's why Shahadah is the basic in being a true Muslim.
That's why it will be the first thing to be done to become a Muslim..
Whenever we have a new brother in Islam,he will be told to utter shahadah!'

"What is the second pillar in Islam??
This time my friend answer it anxiously.."SOLAT!"
My aunt smile and nodded..
Solat is the greatest thing ALLAH has given to us..because it revealed our act in the daily life

It shows that we as Muslim had to be well-prepared in every situation or test that came across us..no matter how things turn out,make the best out of them..

why do we have to face our side whenever we utter our salaam in our prayer?
It shows that, we as Muslim must spread salaam to whomever we met showing that we are praying a good life for them..

"How about Haj?"I asked my aunt.

'Haj revealed us to remember that we are just ALLAH'S slave
haj teach us to be humble and bear in the mind that all of us is just the same..
What makes us a difference from other is just our IMAN..

Why do we run from safa to marwa?
The teaching in that act is to make us realize that whenever we having a failure or 'break down',we will not ever-ever-ever(If I said it three times, I mean it to be serious xD) to be in despair or frustrated..as long as we believe that there is always hope and we just have to strive for it!!

'Allahu Akbar Allahu Akbar Allahu Akbar'

I can feel calmness within my very soul as I saw people walking heading to the beauteous mosque just beside the corner of Jalan Sentosa Street.As usual, it would be a great pleasure in my village to have all of us gathered in this beautiful and blissful day for us to perform Solat Hari Raya..It was sure another joyful experience I had after the end of RAMADHAN..

Yup.Syawal is the month of victory for us muslim..How Allah love us more,He gave us the month of Syawal for us to celebrate our victory after a full month fast,this is the day where we can break our fast( suited for it called the day as 'haram puasa')..
Quite a long start,don't you agree?

'Lailaha illallahu allahu akbar,Allahu Akbar wa lillahilhamd'

The sound continue smoothly emitting my eardrum creating a pleasant tune I enjoy much as I step the entrance of the mosque..Quite a sudden serenity I've got here as the coolness of the weather outside entered the air-conditioner building as I open the door,the first thing that surely catch my anxious eyes that time is a group of old folks sitting on the front line(seems impatience before the solat started)

Suddenly,one of them turned and smile,"Kak Sah!"..
'OK,my grandma's acquaintance..I suppose!'I smiled.And a while I'll be a good listener to their old-fascinating stories when they're in the age of mine,if I'm not mistaken but sure a fascinating one and quite a scene too where I can see a pair of long-time-no-see friend exchanging the ir hugs while talking about their lives..I wonder what would happen to me in 20 years time,can I be like them with the company of my old friends?Together we prayed and hear the khutbah?It was one of my dream to have it.Insya ALLAH..

Do I recall to tell you about a little boy I saw in the mosque?

i think not yet( I just love to answer My own question!hehe)

Here the story begin,I was sitting alone at the edge of the mosque after performing solat sunat,and ready to have a quick i'adah of Surah Yusuf when a cute little boy came sitting beside me.i stop my i'adah for a while in the care to ask the little one(about 5 years old)wether he lost and where could his mom gone to but the boy just give me his cute little smile and stare the Quran I'm holding just in front of me and said'bacelah!I'm quite like a statue for a while but I just continue with it and surprisingly he was reciting Surah Yusuf along with me without looking at the Quran..

I like this boy,I'm amazed with him!"I thought myself..

How I adore him and how he can memorize the Quran,(if not, still,Surah yusuf)in that age!Subhanallah..

Suddenly,looking at the bunch of children playing around outside the mosque revive me of the little boy I saw at the last Raya..Eversince, that makes my heart intrigued to memorize the Quran..sure that time which happen during the first Raya 2007..

What usually would we get on the first Raya?

Duit Raya?
Different kind of Kuih Raya?
New Baju Raya?
or a full scene of relatives during Raya?

This is what I get...

Duit Raya to spent more..
Kuih raya to eat even when my brain alert me'FULL,,FULL'
Baju Raya to show off with the latest touch of my own aunt
And a dull scene of relatives since my perfect place is in my closed bedroom upstairs with books encounter me..

this is what I get when I'm a child!!
But as I grew older and while I'm standing in my own feet,
this is what I should get..

I get my 'duit Raya' and the money change hands(I give it to my mum)
'why did you give your mom?'
She need it more than me..I'm happy to give her..'my straight answer to my companion at that time.

i get kuih raya specially made by my aunt and brought it back to my hostel..
Instead I eat it all alone by myself,it is a good thing to share with my friends,rite?
After all,sharing means caring!(I heard that phrase somewhere,but I can't yet remember it,hmm)

I have my new baju raya,with such a beautiful colours of my choice,still I have scarf and stockings to suit with..
As what my father always warned us,AURAT,AURAT would be his favourite words but it sure makes us siblings well-trained..Thanks a lot DAD!

And a scene with my relatives?
Sure will be,after hearing my grandmother's,I and my other siblings should be in an open-eyed after this whenever our relatives pays us a visit..been motivated enough by our long-experienced granny who known to be a welcomed and adored one in our entire family..

Well,pen off!....tooo many works,sooo little time
Would be idle for a while~{sorry}

'What can possibly this Author's intention at this late night,typing on her keyboard?I rather think she had a story that is ready to explode throughout her mind at this right moment~but I wonder what makes her so eager and desperate of?only she know the answer..'

So,i'm back on my keyboard..I can't think of any possible reason why I got too engross with writing this night,it just seem I can't stop my mind from thinking of it..terified huh?
Don't worry,it is not a contagious disease,i believe..

Maybe this not-so-long-to-be Hari Raya celebration makes me in excitement..just talking about it,I'm sure there is a bubbling of joy within our insight,right?

We are talking about gathering here,dear friends...yup,a liveliness and cheerful one,I supposed..
It is all everybody's expectation,don't you think?

Gathering maybe a simple word in english which I do believe of all's intention into it..but for us muslims,it means a lot more than a word of gather,it means tying bond with our kins..sure means a lot?

Because,it is in my concern from my own experience whenever it is on working day,i'm rarely in a company with my relative that sometimes*most of the time actually*i'm totally in an awkward state whenever my relatives pays us a visit..I rather be shameful of myself whenever my grandmother give me her jaunty smile and said'poe duk depan,konal sedagho 2..nanti,cari laki,tengok-tengok sedagho sendighi.tak segan ko?'

Can't stop smiling whenever I recall that phrase of her..

In my mind,I totally agreed,but I don't know,it just have become a habit of me and my siblings*not including my little brother,he's a hyperactive one that sometimes can be annoying..can't figure how my other relative would considerily calling him..'cuteeees'*
May be he is,after all..hehe
He sure be floating in the air if he read this..*shhh*

As me and the other bunch of girls would rather be at the back*in the kitchen* making excuses...we're are washing dishes,i'm stiring the 'rendang'..and other excuses only-Allah-knows~

Sure have to make a difference this year~hopefully..

I didn't want to end up just like what my grandmother babbling about~hehe

Hopefully,this coming Eid fitr would bring us to a better ties and bonds of ukhwah with our family and relative,not forgotten dear friends~

My holiday just begin...but examsssssss ahead!

It really distract me just thinking of it~ and that time I'm picturing myself having ketupat while reading Fiqh Manhaj,serving people during an open house while reciting juz 11-15 in my mind.....and I suddenly comprehend that it is not such a bad thing after all,rite?

it just a matter of how you make use of your time and appreciate it nonetheless.

How you use the 24-hours Allah have providing us with?

Sometimes people like us just know how to mock or taunt blaming the time without realising who actually the one to blame of? It is ourselves.

OK,it just a random, not even related to what I'm going to share here but still it is something worth for us to think of,TIME!

Have you ever felt that ALLAH was watching and hearing you in every moment?

Wait a minute, don't get me wrong!It is obvious that ALLAH is watching us because;

"for He is the One Who hearth and seethe (all things)" Al-Isra':1

What I try to convey here is about how we realise it in our daily life?

Because if we think it logically,why some people are easily into committing a sinful act(maksiat) if they realise that ALLAH can see and hear them?
the answer is obviously recognised: because they never realise or they ignore to realise it..wana'uzubillah

How do we act, my friend? Why do sometimes we have the highest trust in ALLAH and in other times, we lost it?And at that time we felt like giving up in committing a suicide?Masya ALLAH, have we ever wonder how people around us act?How we ourselves act in that kind of situation..

Sometimes we didn't realise it, right? I admit it too..
Why do sometimes we plan for a tahajud yet we just wake up when the Subuh prayer called?
Why do sometimes we pray and beg to ALLAH in succeeding our exam yet we got a bad result?
At the end,we try to blame ALLAH, for not hearing us?Nauzubillah..

Just take note of this and bear it in our mind.

ALLAH hear us,but do we hear HIM?

Al-Quran is His Word,by reading it,it just as the same as hearing ALLAH talking and remembering us..Do we take His Word as our fully guidance?Do we recall to apply what we memorize in the Quran?Answer it yourselves and you will find the answer to the question above.

ALLAH see us, but do we see HIM?

Whenever we did a bad thing to ourselves or others,have we realise that ALLAH is watching us?Take this as an example.
We have an argument with our friend and we madly angry with him and suddenly he came up to apologize,do we forgive him or not? or do we forgive him but still having a slightly grudge in our heart?if we forgive him with our whole-heart,that is a good thing but what if we didn't?It is a norm,I can see among Malays adults.

If someone apologize because of his lying,some of us can't resist it and just knowing to blame him in saying"Why did he lied?He is a bad person I should say!"and after a while from becoming a best friend forever turning into a great enemy ,but can't we try to open our heart and accept his apologize with a sincere smile on our face while saying"I hope you didn't do it again,I accept your apologize?" at the end,they are no one to blame of and we can live in a serenity life of us.

Have we wonder how children act?I saw it whenever my little sister and brother was arguing for such a small matter,hitting and pinching others until both of them are in tears,when one try to blame others?and before I knew they had an argument any longer,I saw them making and sharing bread and jam together..How easily they can forgive each other without recall or blaming others back what have they did to each other earlier..I realise what a pure heart they have!

So much thing can we take as our 'medicine' troughout our daily life,right?

ALLAH love us but do we love HIM?

ALLAH love us, obviously realise it through our surrounding,no! most obviously in our features,we have eyes to see,nose to smell,hand to touch,feet to walk,air to breath and other countless features..but how we use it?We have been promised from the day Our Prophet died that we were not to be ruin until the Day of Judgement?is that suppose to show how ALLAH love us very much?

But do we love him?do we do what He ask for?do we worship HIM wholeheartedly?Why they are some people who would rather seek for the love of other humans without applying the rules ALLAH had given to us?Why they are still couples holding hands?nauzubillah
how do we show our love to ALLAH?
Do what He ask and forbid what He dislike.

Always keep in our heart and mind to be a better person every days and pray for ALLAH to hold our IMAN in only for HIM.

"Ya Rabb..
La tuzigh qulubana ba'da iz hadaitana wahablana min ladunka rahmah.

'Sometimes life throws you a curveball,hands you a lemon,or knocks you for a loop,but at the end you will success if you manage to approach your trueself'

Appropiate with the title of Month of Mercy,this Ramadhan should give us the chance to get through within and learn our one trueself,don't you agree?

Sometime we thought others with a happy family beside them,with a big career attached them,with a good features within them..keep blaming others for contradicting your thought and always tought that we are the best? Yet still envy on other success without taking any step in changing our 'nightmare'?

Having a thought of people who had success but never take the oppurtinity to try to be like them..

In a simpler word..
Talking without adding any progress..

That's actually what is happening around me lately,at first, i try to ignore it but the scenerio keep playing in my mind somehow making me slightly in stress..
astaghfirullah..

Patience is the best medicine, i keep reminding myself..

And still reminding..it just a matter of how we did in confronting difficulties in order to develop our maturity..

With such difficulties,we try to make up our mind on ways to solve it..i rather apply,way to bounce back to a success..

Who told that we are a failure?we are a success since our mum brought us to the world..rite?
We just have to begin it again from the starting point where we were just a child whom just knowing to cry to an adult with great principle and kind-hearted..

As for us,teenagers(seems more equivelent as me myself consider as a teenage girl),this is the point where we have in searching the real medicine to our weak soul..

Wether we want the best for our future or the other way round..it is in our hand,for we to choose,

Becoming a success or a failure,
Becoming a brave or a coward,
Becoming one's love or one's hatre,
Becoming the best or the worst,
Its up to us,my friend..

Change now before it to late,because remember my friend,
We always didn't realize what we usually have when we have it,but just realize it when it is gone..don't ever forget the two vaulable pleasure which are the health and the leisure time..

Fill it with an outmost number of good deed for we won't regret in the Next..

I take this chances in wishing to all my friend in hoping for a success in this coming exam~

Do the best,let Allah handle the rest..

Ahlan-Ahlan Ya Ramadhan!!!

We always heard people recite in du’a;
“Ya Allah, bless us in the month of Rejab and Sya’ban and let us pass the month of Ramadhan”.

Without realising that time past swiftly, we are on our way once again to meet the magnificent month of Ramadhan,

As Selman Al-Farsi (may Allah be pleased with him) had narrated: “The prophet (pbuh) addressed us on the last day of Sha’ban and said: “People, a great blessed month has come upon you, a month containing Laylat al-Qadr which is better than a thousand months. Allah has made fasting during it an obligation, and steadfastly observing its nights in worship a voluntary act. Whoever undertakes an act of obedience to Allah during this month with a righteous deed, it is as if he has performed an obligatory act at other times; and whoever performs an obligatory act during it is as one who performed seventy obligations at other times.

It is the month of patience, and the reward for patience is Paradise. It is the month of goodwill, during which provisions are multiplied. Whoever feeds a fasting person will be compensated with forgiveness of sins and salvation of his soul from Hell. He will also receive a reward equal to that of the person he feeds, without causing him any reduction (in his good deeds).” (The Companions) said: “Not all of us can find something to feed a fasting person.”

The Prophet (pbuh) said: “Allah gives this reward to whoever feeds a fasting person even with just a taste of milk or dates, or a drink of water. Whoever quenches the thirst of a fasting person, Allah the Almighty makes him drink from my pond such that he will never feel thirsty again until he enters Paradise. It is a month whose beginning is mercy, whose middle is forgiveness and whose end is emancipation from Hell.

Therefore display four characteristics to a greater extent; with two of which you will please your Lord, and two you cannot dispense with. The two with which you will please your Lord are to testify that there is no one deserving of worship except Allah, and to seek His forgiveness; whereas the two which you cannot dispense with are that you beseech Allah to place you in Paradise and that you seek refuge with Him from Hell.” [Related by Ibn Khuzaymah and AlBayhaqi].

I assumed you all would know better than me, I’m just rewriting the story again, because if you asked me, the narration is in our grasp and the story had been told over and over again, right?

But why, every time Ramadhan pays us a visit, people would try to revive back the miracles behind this fasting month?

Because human are naturally forgetful and with this can reanimate our heart from our deep forgettable,burn our evil desire and restrain from our oblivious manner...

Why do we fast? It is from the nature of humans to ask and to wonder why they do things. Muslims do things to please Allah, and they can please Allah only by obeying Him and practicing His religion. Thus, in answer to this question “Why do we fast?” we respond that it is a commandment and a clear order from Allah upon us and we have no other choice but to obey Allah and please Him out of Love and Fear at the same time.

Allah says what means:
“O you who believe, fasting has been prescribed for you as it has been prescribed for people before you so that you will (learn how to) attain Taqwa” (Qur’an, al-Baqarah:183)

Abu Umaamah (r.a.a.) said: I said: O Messenger of Allah, tell me of an action by which I may enter Paradise. He said: Take to Fasting, there is nothing like it. [An-Nasaa’ee, Ibn Hibbaan, Al-Haakim, Saheeh]

In this hadeeth, the Prophet (s.a.w.) singled out fasting when asked about a deed that leads its door to the best of rewards, Paradise. This fact alone is sufficient for us to understand the greatness of fasting. Mere knowledge of the importance and superiority of fasting, however, is not enough for a Muslim to attain Allah’s pleasure and then, insya Allah, His great reward.

I believe if we talk about Ramadhan, the story would never end, right? but what I like to highlight here is how you perform it, my friend..

No matter how much time you have met this month of bless, but how much you can considered as fully blessed? Any changes after it?

We can’t denied that every time we felt that we have rejuvenate ourselves, we sometimes would accidentally into our past behaviour or worst without any guilt. But that is not the point for us not to try to vary ourselves, it is the point of believe in ourselves that we can do it.Thus,Ramadhan is the best month to straighten our soul in restoring back our Iman.

Indeed, the Prophet (s.a.w.) has said:

“Perhaps a person fasting will receive nothing from his fasting except hunger and thirst.” [Ibn Maajah, Ad-Daarimee, Ahmad, al-Baihaqee, Saheeh]

But actually this hadeeth should raise our concern about fasting and increase our desire to perform this act of worship with the best intention and in accordance with the Sunnah of the Prophet (s.a.w.). The first step is for a Muslim to realize that Allah has prescribed fasting as a means of gaining Taqwa.

Allah (swt) has also informed us that it is taqwa that distinguishes people in the His sight.
Didn’t we want to be the person whom ALLAH honoured?

Allah says:

“The most honoured by Allah amongst you are those best in taqwaa.” [Al-Hujurat:13]

Ali ibn Abi Taalib was asked about the definition of taqwa, to which he answered:
“[It is] Fear of the All-Mighty, acting upon the revelation, preparation for the day of travel [when we meet Allah], and contentment with a small amount.”

Ramadhan will come.

Hopefully, despite all the challenges, we were all able to achieve something. Even if it wasn’t much, but at the very least, we all must have gained something, Insya Allah.

After all, all those fasts, prayers, and recitation of Quran weren’t just for nothing. Allah (SWT) says in the Holy Quran:
“…verily Allah will not suffer the reward of the righteous to perish.” (Quran; Hud:115)

Welcome Ya RAMADHAN....we cherish you most!!!

Responsibility is not a play

Salam,sorry for my late update!

Getting busier each day with responsibilities I can't refused..but I felt appreciative for it..

Hoping this coming RAMADHAN give us the opportunity to show our grateful to ALLAH who give us the chance to live and to breathe,to continue with our life and to prepared ourselves for the Hereafter.

This past few weeks that I had in getting involved in three straight programme make me realize that how we should be grateful to ALLAH who give us the time to conduct a significant and momentous programme assisted by professionals coordinators to share and learn together about Islam and da'wah.

OK,coming to my point here..
Have you ever felt jealousy whenever your friend*imagine it is your best buddy* being elected to sit as school president,respected by student and lecturers,being known in the entire school?Whenever someone asked you,Is your best friend the school champion election?you nodded and a while you would be the 'postman' for your best friend's admirers?but we forget one thing..no,few things,I care to share with you in being to one's responsible..they're something we should aware before becoming a leader..the fact that is undeniable.

we are all leaders..
No matter who we are or what we do,we are leaders to ourselves..
before fathers lead their family,
before husbands lead their wives,
before managers lead their workers,
before teachers lead their students,
before brothers lead their siblings,
before workers lead their work,
before we lead ourselves,

ALLAH has stated in the Quran.Surah Al-Baqarah,30:

"Behold, thy Lord said to the angels: "I will create a vicegerent on earth." They said: "Wilt Thou place therein one who will make mischief therein and shed blood?- whilst we do celebrate Thy praises and glorify Thy holy (name)?" He said: "I know what ye know not."

We as a caliph in this world.Responsible to ourselves and others in our surrounding..our family,our friends,our neighbours..

As what had Luqman taught his son about it in Quran:

"O my son! establish regular prayer, enjoin what is just, and forbid what is wrong: and bear with patient constancy whatever betide thee; for this is firmness (of purpose) in (the conduct of) affairs. (Luqman: 17)

You are all leaders and will be questioned over your responsibilities. An Imam is a leader to the ma'mum and will be questioned over his leadership. A husband is a leader in his family and will be questioned over his leadership. "(HR Bukhari and Muslim)

Back to my question,do you get it now? A big power comes with a big responsibilities and if you are chosen to fill up the task,be grateful because ALLAH believes you can do it, but if it is on the other hand,don't think that you have no right to take the leads,just remember, you are a leader to yourself..

As for leaders,you really have the faith from people around you but do remember that a good leader is the one who willing to change and to admit from their mistakes. Sometimes we can't see our false that everybody around us could see,so listen and work more rather than talking to much because an achievement is measured mostly by our work done.

But what about this:

'I don't want to take it, I'm not suit enough!' or this;'It's OK with my grade,It is just a piece of cake,I want the position!'

There are some people who are willing to reject than to take the position?and they are some who promote themselves in taking the position even though his/her name is not listed.
Can we? or shall we?
What if the position took over your responsibility to your creator, or your responsibility to your family, or your grades?
In this situation,priority first!

I'm not telling you that you have to reject all the position that had been considered for you in school or university, but my point is that why some people rather seeing their failure in exam than resigning their position.For me, if you can't cope with your study,better for you to let go of your position.Don't take it as an offence,because they are people who excel in their exam and at the same time becoming a president in one's association.

The formulae is simple,it just a matter of diligence and discipline.In my opinion,da'wah and study should go along together, if we want a great success in our da'wah,we must want the same thing in our study.I believe if we take it in a balance, we shall be a great da'ie and a success student as well.

How about when you are too busy with your work until you have to delay your solat!( How can even they use that kind of word in praying?)They're is no such thing in delaying your Solat because of busy,even if you are in a trades or business,you have to leave your work,as if they're in a long journey,even a musafir have to pray in jamak or qasar.Islam has state a simple way for us to ease us but not for us to take advantages on it.

When we talk about position here,is not just talking about fame or status, we were talking about a bigger utterance here,responsibility and trust.Not only to humans but to our creator,ALLAH for He is the One Who hearth and seethe (all things).

Responsibility is not a play,it is an obligation that had written to us as a caliph.Don't take it irresolutely because it will be judged in the Hereafter..

Just imagine if one's didn't take one's responsibility intently?
Disaster to the world and nature..Nau'zubillah..

I remind myself before others..

Do you enjoin right conduct on the people, and forget (To practise it) yourselves, and yet ye study the Scripture? Will ye not understand?( Al-Baqarah:44)

Alhamdulillah, the only word to describe my gladness!

The 2 days workshop had came to a success,not only I trained them but I also learn new things about ADOBE,*Thanks to sifu Akmal Hakim*

Looking at the team's passion and commitment making me anxious and keen to train and together learn with them *I'm more in learning actually..*.Supplied by only 5 trainers ( 2 muslimin and 3 muslimat), we manage to conduct to about 30 trainees.

And the output is fantastic! I salute to my trainees as they manage to make a nice RISALAH in only one day for almost three times!.The first risalah they try to make was almost done when suddenly my laptop went shut off.."Out of battery, but we didn't save it!"one of my tranee complain.

"Its ok, do it again.."I try to encourage them.In my heart,I was worried.Akmal want it tonight by nine,what if they haven't done yet with it.Suddenly sis najwa came to me and told me. "Ustazah Anita,..she forbid us to do the risalah after maghrib!"One more problem ahead.Calm down..Calm down,I whispered myself.

Suddenly,there is a beep,one message in my inbox.."Its ok,our workshop will be continue until 10.30..The presentation will start after that."wrote Akmal.Felt relieved for a moment before suddenly my friend blurt out..'the same thing happen to my team'..

"what??You lost it too?"I blinked in suprised but I try to calm myself.

WE PLAN, ALLAH DESTINED...

"Just continue with your work,doesn't matter it is done or not,the important is you have try!"Fatin said.*her eyes glow like sunshine*^^ another gag,aha..we through with it though*alhamdulillah*

Another effort was made..^^

Usrah IMG was built..with 3 leaders in a hope of sharing and at the same time retrieving and topup our IMAN with Mawaddah and Hubb only for ALLAH..to cure their heart for a better faith in ALLAH,to open ther mind in the objective of our team with a priority in the name of ukhwah!
Seeing my juniors with the 'I-dunno-what-to-do' look and 'help-us' face giving me an urge to be with them,to hear and talk with them,ask their problem, if could through out the day..but when we talk about time limit,ya!time always envy on us..

With too many comitment needed in school as in home too,I try my best to occupy my team with a small advice whenever I come to see them..and I feel happy for their understanding..Just waiting for my driving lesson...i drive to Pedas..we'll see..^^

Salam..huh, felt relieved for my assignment done yesterday..*alhamdulillah*

Last couple of days, I spent my afternoon in PEDAS ( My old but still-longing-in-my-heart-till-now school),It is just a short visit but at the end I felt a satisfaction though

It was a lovely Saturday where the sun shines brightly when my mother drove me there..ANXIOUS,EXCITED,FEAR,all I felt at once..

As we arrived at the entrance,we were blocked!

"What happened?"I asked my mother.

"You have to walk inside,visitors are not allowed to enter before 11 o clock..' the lifeguard warn us.

"Strictly!,I wonder what other changes had been made in PEDAS,makes me eager to go inside,if I recall it is about 1 year since I last visit my school,hmm....still wondering"I murmured myself.

So,I walk with my sister inside and headed to our hostel ( Zahraa and Humaira block)
No one there..I stared my sis and my sis looked at her watch..ok, it 9.45..they all went for PREP, It Saturday ,right!It is PREP TIME..so we wait for about 15 minutes in the Musolla, I explore and read the 'RISALAH' that had been stick as usual on the BADAR'S BOARD..

"Ka Sarah!"Fizah,my Junior a.k.a my sister's classmate suddenly appeared in front of the musolla's door.I was paralyzed for a moment.We have a quick sweet talk but I know I have a more important progress to be made..so my hunting progress continue...

"OK,gather all IMG team within 10 minutes!"I ordered Farid*sound like a captain to me*..naa,just a gag...^^
In minutes, I was at the musolla with the muslimat team after I left my sister chatting with her old friends in the Art Room*I know how excited is her*..
So my meeting start and I fulfilled my progress in explaining to them on the ISLAH MULTIMEDIA ACADEMY...positive response,I would rather say,they all seem very excited...and the most important thing is their commitment,they are willing to join,learn and work in the way ISLAM want..

Our programme is in a way to bring about a success da'ie with an intellectual capabilities particularly on information technologies..

I was informed that the Muslimat IMG team was on a progress in releasing their first magazine*congratulation to IMG Team* and some of them are making montage too..*way to go,gurlz,now I'm going to be the protege,^^,*

I met Ust Anita and exchange hugs..*My dearly Arabic teacher since I first step in the school*..I take my time visiting all my juniors in the hostel and went back to Musolla at Zuhr..*Do really miss the times I spent in BADAR's room,cleaning the Musolla every Sunday*

So I called my mum to pick up us after Zuhr after she fetch my sister at the hostel.
"In half an hour from now,"my mother told me.I met Fatin and have a short talk,we exchange our story and recalling the memories back when they're just in Form 1*where at that time ,I'm a form 4 student*

"Ka Sarah, we have a problem!"Suddenly she just blurt out.
I was shock for a moment but trying to figure out what exactly had happen behind the Walls of PEDAS..And suddenly I knew it..and giving advice seems to be the fastest solution at that time..It was just that my sister came and told me that my mother has waiting for me outside..so I close our 'one-to-one-heart talk' with a promise, I'll come back and we solve it together..

Pedas is part of me,when something happen to it,it actually happen to me!and if something is not right,I have to figure out and makes the things right..wait for us ,pedas...we make a difference in it..

Tears of Hope

Assalamualaikum..

Recently,I was blog-hopping(is it a correct word?) and i realize most of the entries had the same story..I was intrigued to read more about this 'shahid kecil'-that what they called him..

And I found myself burst into drop of tears..

I felt an amazement in him..for his work in da'wa,
I felt a twinge of jealousy...for his friend's compliment on him,
I felt a great wonder...for his early-age death,
I felt a remarkable lost..of a brother in islam,
I felt a big shiver...for just to think about it,
But mostly,I felt
fully awaken by this tragic news of our own brother who currently studying in Mesir,Ammar Zulkafli..al-fatihah to him,May Allah place him among the Martyr in Islam..

It was not even two weeks from his death but I still cry whenever I read about him..Subahanallah..

I cry just thinking as if I'm in his place,Am I ready to face Allah?

I cry thinking as if I'm in his place,can I continuously disseminate da'wa in my life time with such a perseverance as him?

I cry just thinking how weak my soul is as I thought I can't be like him..

I cry just recalling my junior,Hanina who died in an early age of 17..
I cry yet I didn't understand..

Until I found my full-strength in reading the verses of Quran and find the answer,

' For every nation there is a fixed term,when their term expires,it can neither be delayed for a moment nor can it be made to come early.
(Al-a'raf:34)

And whenever this fatal happen,it is a SIGN from ALLAH..
for us to remember..
for us to think that Allah is giving us chance,
for us to change and consistent in it..

'Among His signs is the creation of the heavens and earth and all the creatures He has spread about them.And He has the power to gather them together whenever He wills.
(Asy-syura:29)

I realize my tears must not be a tears of demoralize or weakness..

It must be tears of hearten and encouragement..

We cry of spirit that arouse in our soul..we cry in begging for forgiveness from Allah..

That is the most precious tears..Tears in grief only for Allah..

Tears that will always be longing for by ALLAH from His servant..US!!

Ask ourselves..
How many times we laugh a day?Have we ever thought of ALLAH when we laugh?

We always relate laugh as a symbol of happiness,but do we ever relate Allah with our happiness whenever we laugh?.(ok,i get it..such a circumlocutory question huh?..XD)

'Let them laugh a little,much will they weep as a recompense for what they have earned'
(At-taubah:82)

Now did you get what I mean..there is nothing wrong with having fun but make it as much as is necessary and do cry a lot but not in insufficiently like crying over a movie..

Make our tears a tears of hope to be a greater person in our way to realize the real meaning of being a caliph and in order to inherit our prophet's will to spread the da'wa throughout the world..

'Live as a Mujahid or die as Syahid'

Our progress continue...

In a 2 month time..
We're doing quite well and we got a supporter too!
(A great applause to our Mentor-Sir Kamarul)

That was a night..a memorable night i spent with these special girls..

So our discussion began in that breezy midnight..(since our 'rokol'-stand 4 'recall' lasted in midnight)

'i'm dating a 'mat rempit'..Leeya blurt out..

'i'm desperate for a boyfriend!'Sal expressed.

'i'm in love with a married man'..honestly,Siti speak..
I was just like startled and a 'aah' n a 'ooo' n a gasp..

'I'm not good at this kind of thing..honestly,never been in those kind of experience..can I help them?..n that time,I confide myself,this is it..I try my best to tell them..and a satisfy it a lot!

This 'disease' had totally infect the lifestyle of nowdays teenagers as if they can't live without it..Masya Allah..

'wierdo!!'the only word came out from their mouth when i told them i'd never coupled..

'don't you ever wonder the feeling of to love someone n to be love,knowing someone is caring for you as a bliss?I listen patiently with a smile.

'as if you never had a crush on someone?..another smile on my face.

'what would you do if someone you love propose you to be his girlfriend?won't you feel any excitement?..a 'golden' question,I smiled..

I was trying to compile the best sentence as an answer for their 'straight forward' question,I tell you when suddenly I remember..

'do you know exactly why you're chasing this kind of love?

They blinked.I giggled.

'because you didn't feel Allah's love..you didn't seek for it..o you didn't know how to express your love to Him..you turn to the 'real' one, one that you can really see,one that you can touch,one that you can contact and share your thought with,one you can spend time,exchange presents and fishing for compliments from,most of all,one that you care and love with you true heart..am i right?'I state my opinion.

They mouthed an 'O'..

'have you ever wonder to be loved by Allah,to seek His Love was far more bliss?.I questioned them back..

'do you ever feel crush with Him?..the time when we feel anxious everytime we 'met' him in our prayers,share your thought(talk with Him) in every of our Doa..felt loved by Him everytime we were in happiness,being alerted by Him whenever we fell in a fatal..being tought by Him whenever we realize from a big mistake..'

Change a little is better than not changing..
That we call a bliss whenever we have the faith to change to be better in times..It is not that we have to change drastically in one night..
Step by step..one by one..'they give me a smile in tears that i will never forget till now..

Woo,!where you day-dreaming or what?'my friend asked.
'just recall a memory back then when we were in the PLKN,Leeya!'I give her a sincere smile.

'i hope a good one!about me?haha'she joked.

'sure,the one i treasured most!our memorable night!'I tell her..

Hope this simple story would give a moral value to us..i continously remind myself and my friends..

'To love someone means nothing,
To be love by someone means something,
To be love by someone you love means exciting,
To be love by by Allah means everything..

'sara,how about a day out?'message from my dear friend..
'sure,any idea?'I reply..
Let go for a swim..so there we went that morning..feel good,ya!

First day
I arrived there with my parents..'i hate this place totally'..truthfully my first time to be exposed in such a camp..or maybe a 'dungeon' would be a suit..
I felt sick just standing beside all that 'freaks' (that what i called them percisely)..i try to be polite when a girl with a pony -tail approach me that time which i honestly didn't feel any 'friendly mood' that time..i try to be an optimist but a little careful too..

First week
'i want to go home!!'my heart screamin..(wo!too exaggerate for a word,i know)..but that what i felt..i just can't catch up with those kind of people..i've never had a chinese or indian friend since primary 4,i recall..its just that i once have a philipino friend back when im a primary student and I dislike her because she always showing off with her new things,.what do a 9 years old kid know?hm..

Getting a group of people that has the urge in dakwah here is like waiting for a miracle to happen -assalamualaikum,ustazah!'lierally that was my new 'nickname' there but I just move own pretending that i never hear it.It just that one mouth is ones,i can't stop people from talking..
'dont u fell hot wearing that big scarf?'a chinese friend ask-refering to 'a tudung labuh'..'i'm used to it.'i answered..really,i felt a bit left out with all those 'up-2-date' people around me that sometimes i do felt like trying to be like them..my soul was not that tough,i know but i still doing fine.. i met this girl that really give me the stregth and this boy..i do remember when a night that i've been choosen to be a coordinator of a festival,he spoke to us
'this is our time to show them that we can bring the truth within their soul'..be ourselves and have faith in Allah..

It's ok that i was called ustazah,o i've been left out as 'old-fashion girl' but overall i felt respected and safe..

But that time i realise,i have a responsible,i have a job...not to be like them o persuade them to be like me but to acknowledge them with the truth in islam,the way of life..

One month later
,
Our progress was held..me and my 4 others friend was handing out 'risalah' throuhout the camp..we make a small talk regarding women to be specialize..
Some of them didnt even know that dyeing is 'haram'
Subhanallah..
I felt happy and more to relieve as I realise that they still have the stregth and hope to change to a better person..although they are stubborn one..it a way of nature..rite
To share with u..coupling between muslim and non-muslim is a norm here,not to mention the worse ex-SMKA with ex-SMKA..
Hearing there excuse did make me feel crushed and sad..
'it is one way to bring them to islam..if they love us,surely they will convert to islam'

'why do you hold hands?it still illegal..' the guy answered confidently..'they didn't know about the rules in islam.'..so it is not a sin for them..

It a sin for you!!,the word just flew in my mind..i was speechless that time..it was just i had a vision of things that would happen in a decade after that time..What would happen to our siblings out there..

'Ya Allah,faghfirlana zanbina..
Allahumma aslih shababana!!
Allahumma aslih sulukahum!!

It time for a change..
When one want a difference,it takes just a faith in the Almighty..xD

Salam Brothers and sisters..

Ever since I start writing, I always thought that I can't..lack of idea was my lame excuse..To tell you the truth, I really do hate writing especially when it comes on writing a 'compo',I was forcing myself to do it..but I didn't really feel the remarkable gratification whenever I finish writing what exactly running through my mind until one day, my dearest aunt suggest me to jot it..surprisingly, she added,in your own blog.

And until now, I sometimes didn't believe myself that I'm actually is writing..in my own blog!although I'm still have a lot to learn..(grammar and vocabulary),but reviving my aunt's advice,

"You share,you care!we didn't know who would jump in or enter your blog,but we do hope that the reader will leave with some new knowledge in their grasp..even if it just a small erudition.'

And now,I felt a lot to satisfy as I write because I know the feel to be content as to voice out trough my writings and to share with the readers eventually.A commenter is a part for my improvement that I really have to pay a great thank to them giving me the inspiring comment and a new vocab too..:)

I really do hope that I've manage to get a bit of your attention here, not to get a great publicity but to share my thought with the readers as I try to enhance my work on writing..My friend always ask me,

"Why do you write in English?Is it better if you write it in Malays so people can read it?I simply answered"What do you mean they will read it when it is Malays..to be notably that we do learn English since we are in standard 1, so if we count it clearly, it is a full 12 years that we used in learning English, don;t tell me that they didn't know how to read in English because obviously we learn it in ages,perhaps now we still learning it..the real question is that they didn't know or they didn't want to read it in English..because to be honest,I didn't like to read English books in my younger age, but seeing my sister, my mother..I really proud of my mother..she also manage to help on my father's thesis that was presented at the University o Wales last year.

I try to force myself into reading it,ya, it really tough though,just imagine,the one thing that I was avoiding that time was looking into the dictionary..owh, really hate it..you have to search for the word and see the meaning rapidly..it was an exhausting work indeed..so I try the simpler way, I try reading comics..Archies and Calvin n Hobbes..my two favourite comics..have you heard it? And it was easier though because whenever I didn't came out with the meanings, I try to figure it out from the pictures and I've done it..but not worthy enough..because sometimes I do make a mistake in guessing the picture..

So,I turn to a more favourable type of books,fiction one!That always came out to be a blockbuster movie...you know it..Harry potter's,the trilogy of Stephen Mayor's books and the latest was twilight..how catching the way they write it..and to be truthful,at this state, I try myself to be more manageable and more wise in using the dictionary and I figure it quite enjoying and satisfying!

Learning it from my eldest sister on how she manage to write a 'bombastic' piece of writing,I try to jot down every new word I've came across in my readings and try to re-write it using my own words..and it does help improving my writings..try it!and you will find it quite fetching..;)but as I grew up, I learn the real meaning of life,I turn my new leaf to a real, better,fascinating story that still help me in amending my English writing added me with a truth in islam and I'm still searching for it for a better days in my life..

Men are from Mars,Women are from Venus had open my eyes through the differences between the two genders,Words from Imam Al-Ghazali has been my 'antibiotics' in my daily life..The road to Makka had inspired me on the true journey of life,I really enjoy the writing of M.Asad sometimes I just can't deny in comparing him with Barrack Obama..and M.Asad seem a lot better..!

And I'm making it my collection, though actually I borrow it from my sister..hehe,sorry sis!but as I say just now,sharing is caring,right?^^..It just that,I really can't make up a good decision in choosing books that sometimes I really have to ring my sister or my aunt just in order to ask them whether the book is good or not, because if not, I will end myself in buying books that sometimes didn't even worth,get it?..(have to loosen up with my 'shopaholic' symptom)

Don't get me wrong, dear readers,the real thing that I try to imply here is how we share our story to our friends did help you releasing burdensome of your thought..and personally I confess that as I speak Malays through out my daily life,I make up my mind in the only way to improve my language is to write it in my blog in the same time practising my new vocab and sharing my simple story to the readers..now everyone will satisfy, right?just stand in one phrase;

As you write you tend to share..and sharing means caring..

I remind myself..

Recently,we were rocked by non-welcoming news from our brothers and sisters-just think of it, when morning comes, remember that the sun is shining upon thousands of miserable human, but we are blessed, it is shining on hundreds of hungry humans, but we have plenty to eat, it shines on thousands of human who are imprisoned, but we are free,it shines on thousands of human @ mama who loses their child but we are happy and healthy,sit and think deeply, look at the numbers and statistics.

How many things do you own?
How much wealth you posses?
How many blessing do you enjoy?
How many thing that bring you delight?
If not a praise to ALLAH, the Exalted, for His kindness, protection and generosity, are we qualified to have all the blessing?

The formulae is as easy as ABC if we trust in ALLAH..you'll be the happiest man in the universe..

"...And put your trust in Allah if you are indeed believers"
(AL-Mai'dah:23)

Be like an ant in hard work and patience.Always keep trying and keep repenting.i f you go back to sin, then repent again.Same in memorize Quran, and if you forget it, go back and memorize it again and again.The main thing is you should never feel defeated because frankly speaking there is no such thing as the last word or the bitter end, but there is always trial and error, and learning from mistakes

Life is like a body that may undergo cosmetic surgery
Life is also like a building that can be renovated and rebuilt from scratch with new decor and paint..
"Giving up sin is jihad, but persisting in it is stubbornness"

Where do we start,dear brother and sisters,the key of happiness is prostration, in other words,Fajr is the first step happen to give all the happiness to our life..remember a phrase that my father always told me,

"Early to bed, early to rise, make a man wealthy, healthy and wise".Our phrophet S.A.W also had stated that whenever it is dawn, that is when the door of Rahmah will widely open to whom that knew...

But how many of us realize it?why there are still people out there suffer in despair and frustration?People who are more than a millionaire like Bill Clinton and Cindy Crawford was likely in a marriage crisis, there is no happiness in their life..just observed nearby, our own country,it is obvious in the newspapers or magazines how most famous people will not left soundly without being in a gossip issue..where will they get their privacy?Who would dare answer it..sometimes, I would rather agreed in what Pahrol Mohamad Juoi said THAT WE LACK OF ZIKR..

A man had an argument with his wife and said," I am going to make your life miserable."The wife calmly replied, You cannot do that."He said,"Why not?"She said." If happiness is to be found in money or jewellery, you could deprive me of it and take it away from me, but it is nothing over which you or any other person has any control.I find my happiness in my faith, and my faith is in my heart, and NO ONE HAS POWER OVER IT EXCEPT ALLAH..

The only way to find happiness is by learning the true religion with which the Messenger of ALLAH was sent.Once a person finds this way, it will not matter if he sleeps in a hut or by the side of the road, and he will be content with a piece of bread and he will be the happiest person in the world,but the question is,do we (who have a shelter to stay in, food enough to eat or money much to spend) pay any grateful to ALLAH? Ask for yourself..Do we fit in becoming His grateful servant?

"We need money in order to live but that does not mean that we need to live for the sake of money"

Subhannallah..Ya ALLAH,make us part of the little..

"And surely, We gave you authority on the earth and appointed for you therein provisions (for your life). Little thanks do you give."
Al-A'araf:10)

Get yourself busy!

This month..got stuck in a hectic shedule..with Quran class and exams ahead,I didn't have much time to run my fingers on the keyboard(or maybe enough for this only post!)-managing to steal some time to write this,bad sarah..;-)

It is just sometimes i felt a twinge of jealousy for my friend that can spend their two month holiday with their families as me and the others had to go back to Dq,but our responsibilities is ours and if it means that we have to sacrifies our holidays then we have to..everyone of us will not be left alone without any 'busy day',the time where we didn't even bother to eat or sleep..workaholic type..but the question is have you any busy day or you busied with nothing(or busy-body?)

I always heard my friends complaining..'no work to do!' And when the others reply,'so do one!',i can't help myself from smiling..because I just can't bear in agreeing her that sometimes I do felt the same thing..and one thing to cure it,I have to make myself a busy one..Thats why I make my books on the shelves as my company whenever I felt bored,I even slept with books..which really end with the books reading me..:-)

Not to mention it helps our mind grow too,but be careful in choosing them..we all know how the world had partial changes in nowdays civilisation as more people are getting brilliant and educated,should or have we ever asked ourselves where in the state are we now?Are we still in a comfort zone of flirting with someone or sleeping all day long rather than thinking what will happen to us in the years ahead?or getting ourselves busy with plans on reaching our goals and achieving our dreams?

If we think that 'we have time','dont worry','do it later',we are wrong,totally wrong..because to be honest,if we think that we really need time,than we realize that responsibilities exceeding times..and that time we can't even occupy our thought with tiny craps..as we all familiar with the phrase 'don't do tomorrow what you can do today'..a good phrase,right?

Have we even done our duty perfectly as a student?as a son /daughter? as a brother/sister? not to mention after marriage or how about our duty as a full-servant of Allah and a caliph in this world,don't ever say you don't have thing to do because too many responsibilities ahead you that sometimes you didn't even notice..

'By the time through the ages!Surely mankind is in loss,except those who believe and do good deeds,exhort one another to the truth and exhort one another to patience.
(Al-Asr:1-3)

If we ask ourselves,have we been a good son/daughter to our parents,or an understanding pal to our friends or a loyal servant to Allah?if not do we really have to wait until the world end that we would change?

Remember of me about a phrase,bad phrase..life begin at 40,for the white men,it took it as a meaning to enjoy their time more in the age of 40 which is really bad..but some of our Malays misused it by telling that 40 is a good time to be a better person,if I want to wear 'hijab',it will be the age of 40?can you resist?meaning that 40 is the age of changes..How can some people manage to think that a year of 40 is the time to change?what if we die before even we get 40?we even can't predict when will be our death..some of us just would rather busied themselves with enjoyament than responsibilities that i've just mention..agreed?

I was reading one of my book collection that had mention one meaningful sentence,get yourself busy!

I found myself a little bit confuse the first time,but as I force my eyes to plod through the lines in my book(it is midnight,huh,really,sometimes I did'nt care,to be honest,didn't even bother the time whenever I held my book especially book that i really enthuse in),I figure it myself.

'cease from busies is a dawdle,and free time is the worse thief'..if we didn't use our time on doing useful things,your time will left you with loss..don't wait until your real 'busy day' come when you can busied yourself in your free time,get it?

So think again when you didn't do a thing because it is you to choose..be as busy as bee..not a busybody!

ESQ 165!I'm loving it..

Last night,I went to Alson Klana attending a night preview of ESQ..have you heard about it??

Most of my family was participating..it was the first ESQ team to be in Negeri Sembilan lead by Pak Ari Ginanjar Agustian,Author of bestseller Book,ESQ power..

I was stunned as I hear the speech delivered by Pak Firdaus,according to him,ESQ balances the spiritual.emotional, and intellectual aptitude and attitude.Its fits nicely in the total training philosophy of interfacing work, life and learning.

I'm truly impressed on the way they attract people on the 3 days training..the important 3s which is Senyum symmetry,Salam Semut and Sahabat Sejati..

Although I'm not participating on the training,actually the training is for the adults but the 2 hour preview last night is enough to make me amazed.

We as human needed to balance our IQ,EQ and SQ,Let us compare this three situation,

1)Ahmad was an intellegent businessman who had 4000 workers under him.Obviously,he really good in trade but he was hated by his own workers by his rude manners,he is lack of the emotional quotients,I supposed,right?

Using the same example,just making it easier,
2)Ahmad was an intellegent businessman who had 4000 workers under him.Not only he is a brilliant bv he also have a good social relation with his workers.He really put his full effort on his employee's right making him to be a person with full respect but the thing is he didn't know the meaning of life what related with our spiritual quotient..And it end with just being a manipulator who manipulated others for its own purpose,wana'uzubillah..
3)Do I need to give example..(JK.)I think you can predict it,right?
when we us the three quotient balancely,there is when we will become 'khaira ummah' as what is stated in the Quran,

But the question is what will be the main core?is it IQ or EQ or SQ?

The answer is in the Quran..

'And from wheresover you start forth(for prayers),turn your face in the direction of Al-Masjid-Al-Haram(at Makkah),and wheresover you are,turn your faces towards it sn that men may have no argument against you except those of them that are wrong-doers,so fear them not,but fear Me!-And so that I may complete My Blessings on you and that you may be guided.
(Al-Baqarah:150)

Everything we've done will never be hidden from Allah..and Al-Quran is the best medicine for our soul..and that makes SQ the importance..but doesn't mean that we have to ignore our IQ and EQ,it just that we have to develop our SQ in order to help maintaining our IQ and EQ because when we knew the meaning of life,that is when we can answer this following questions:
who I am?
Where am I?
What I do now?
Where I am in the next?

For instant, what happen in one of a country in USA,California which is known as a country which high in sociality and intelect..most of the best universities is there with all the brilliant lecturers and students,when we talk about english movies,remind us about Hollywood,yes,until now,Hollywood did conquer the world including Malaysia..We also have heard about Bevearly Hills right?who is fond with the 'totally Spies may knew abov that famous place..but the point is do you know what really happen over a decade back in California?
More than 4000 people was comitting in a suicide..on the bridge..until the only solution made by its government was placing public phones along the bridge in order to give the hopeless humans to make a conselling before they decide to throw themselves below the river..can you imagine it?

If we recall the story of Musa in his searching for Lord on the Mount of Tur for about 40 days.

'Then when Musa had fulfilled the term and was travelling with his family,he saw a fire in the direction of Tur(Mount).He said to his family:'Wait,I have seen a fire,perhaps I may bring you from there some information,or a burning fire-brand that you may warm yourselves.So when he reached it(the fire),he was called from the right side of the valley,in the blessed place,from the tree:'O Musa!Verily I am Allah,the Lord of the Alamin(mankind,jinn and all that exists)!
Al-Qasas:29-30

And when Allah revealed His power by destroying the Mount of Tur and that is when Musa believe and the only words flew from his mouth that time was 'La ila ha illallah'.And how about 5 years taken by our prophet searching for the real meaning of life up in Gua Hira' making him away from the Jahiliah until one day when came down the first 5 sentences in Al-alaq,

'Read! in the Name of your Lord Who has created(all that exists.He has created man from a clot(a piece of thick coagulated blood).Read!and your Lord is the Most Generous.Who has taught(the writing) by the pen.He has taught man that which he knew NOT!.

But what captured my heart that time was a question,
'How many years have you use in searching the true meaning of life?or we just become a manipulator to ourselves,preoccupied by the play of the world without realize that time run fast every and each moment,when the time comes,we all will face ALLAH..

That was ESQ is all about..1 ehsan,6 pillars in Iman,5 pillars in Islam..

I wish to join the Mahasiswa team soon..Ameen..

Seeing all my family after their training really motivate me most.What is the speciality of this course,it is not only for muslims but to all religions as I was shock to see Billy Lim,author of 'Dare to fail' as one of the alumni,

Time past,my friends...but the sweet memories will never ends..

Remember,my friends?
when we are in primary 6 preparing for our PSR,I was sitting on my chair in 2A class adoring the ITQSHHB just behind our school(SPA)..What was I'm thinking that time was I'm going to be there one day!I can see people wearing jubah from just outside my window and what I'm thinking that time was that I'm going to wear it one day!
it was at the musolla when I overheard someone talking to a friend that how anxious she was to continue her study in tahfiz..and that time i thought to myself..ili,we will met there!(to tell you that 'someone' is ili!haha)

Remember my friends?
When we went for the enterview, we were just like on a war,all of us was trying to do the best,try to memorize one page that was given to us in half an hour time..I met Ili,she was sitting beside me waiting to be examine..she seems to have memorize the whole page,I can see the way she struggle on it..She read it loud and clear,one way for easier memorizing..looking at her makes me motivated to memorize my page.(thanks li..)

Remember my friends?when we were chosen to be part of the tahfizians,we were at the hall(I still love their sit..),we were given a talk about our progress in the tahfiz,do you know why I choose the word chosen?because we are chosen from hudreds of people went for the interview..the real is we are chosen by Allah to be there..I remember that time,our parents was the one that having the joy to see their sons and daughters not only to continue their study but also was given the oppurtinity to memorize the Quran,our precious book.

During our orientation week,we were playing a game of i-forgot-the-name,but that game really make me know a bit about you all,my friends..

The song that we sang(actually the song we heard..LOL)during our orientation sang beautifully by our seniors,

' Sesegar hijau daunan,begitulah kita diibaratkan,tiada siapa yang bisa memisahkan kita, antara kita semua..'

And I mean it..love having you as my friends..

Do you remember my friends,the first week living in tahfiz was taugh for some of us,never been away from our family,ya!that was my first experience living in a hostel(although our hostel seems to be like a hotel!)but still I'm homesick..:-)

But why I called it my precious moment because,it is in the tahfiz I first learnt to be an independent person..
It is in the tahfiz that I realize friends were everything(since we were 24 hours around them)but it didn't mean we have left our family behind,it just that we have added our family..ya,friends is like our family too..
It is in the tahfiz, I first learn about love and friendship..

I learn about the importants of co-operation and the meaning of giving not wanting..u know what I mean?when it comes to a birthday,none of us will be left behind to be wish..I learn that it is not the presents or how much it cost that makes ones happy,its how they remembered you as a friend.

Remember my friends,we were at our class,14 of us were sitting in a circle (we always done it..right,my friend?)We let out all the disatisfication that messing our mind that time to others,I learn that time the important of always listen and understanding especially our beloved friends...

14 is not a large number,36 is not enough too but how many of us isn't the importance as long we stick in a bond name ukhwah,we will always be a big happy family..

Do you know my friends?
when I left the tahfiz,at the end of our second year,I really didn't have any chance to meet all of you..I just met hanan and gmah,really,my friends,I didn't expect that it will be the last time for me in the TP,but I know Allah knows the best..

Do you know my friends,I was overjoy when I receive a letter from you all after a month i'm in Malaysia..

I still remember that you told me to send pictures and letters to all of you but I didnt make it,sorry my friends..

It is in the tahfiz
that I realize how lucky I am to memorize the Quran and making it part of my life now..

Now,when I'm studying in Dq,I met my friends AGAIN..i realize how thankful should I be to Allah..Alhamdulillah..He will never neglect our will,
QURAN unite us,
QURAN also re-unite us..

Now,we all have taken our path to success in our life but all I hope is our Quran is still in our heart just like our friendship..remember my friends..
We put our life and hope in order to live as a tahfizians,memorizhng the Quran,do you wish to left it away now?Remember,
we memorize it and it is us to keep it and work with it..

It is a waste,if the knowledge we knew,we didn't use it wisely,right,my friends?I remind myself first and then you to never left the quran behind..

I hope one day,when I pay a visit to Brunei,I really want to see the profesionals that make the Quran part of their life..continueing in memorize and understand the real meaning of the magic phrases in the Quran..

I really hope to see you all again,brothers and sisters..Amin..
